Love Purple Haze, but I haven't tried the Jockamo IPA yet. I have really cut down on my beer consumption the last few years, it just adds pounds I don't need and I end up spending time in the gym that I need to spend on other things like growing.

Doesn't mean I quit drinking:D If you like bourbon and can find it, Elijah Craig 18 year old Single Barrel Bourbon is the shit and only about $50 a bottle.

My all time favorite libation is Middleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey, but it's more than twice the price of Elijah Craig and very hard to find . . . .

I keep that shit around for very special occasions and all Gator victories

I can't do the brown stuff any more and like you, my beer consumption is down also for the same reasons. I do miss my single malts and bourbons ...my liver sure as hell doesn't though.
I was wary of the Purple Haze b/c I thought the berry flavor would be to dominant but nope....it's now my favorite summer beer. Jockamo is a nice amber colored IPA that's not too hoppy or too fruity....typical well balanced Abita product.

...Up my way in Sarasota and Gibsonton is carnival and circus performers land.
Strange going thru "Gibtown" and seeing ferris wheels and other rides in residents yards. midgets , giants, and carnies.
And the "Lobster Family" the Stiles.
Only Mrs. Stiles had lobster boy whacked. But they had children so there are more lobster people to perform.
The only place in the state where their circus animals can be kept because of zoning laws.
Strange state in many ways. But I do miss cajin food and Texmex.
I will never move back there either, but it was nice remembering it with you. But I did love Kemah and the seafood restaurants there. I don't miss the refinery pollution though, but now we have oil polluted Gulf to worry about now. But keep up the movement in Florida and we will legalize yet. I am anxiously waiting for to see what happens in November in California where the voters might legalize for anybody over 21 and tax it. But it will make it cheaper getting the mexican cartel out of the equasion. Keep growing and voting guys of Florida.

i know sarasota and gibsonton very well. sarasota is my second home and where i used to get excellent mids a few years ago. i knew alot of people that worked for CHILLS before the DEA took down the owner for selling pipes and papers in the wrong state.

i got lucky one night leaving the quay. friend was paking a bowl goin down 41 and i got pulled. the cop knew my friend hid something but i wasnt going to say he hid a bowl. i played dumb and was going to make him call for the K-9 but the cop got frustrated and told me to get where i was going and fast.

i know about prop 19 but some of the greedy ass big time growers are activle spewing false info to get people to vote no.

fuckn idiots.

ive been having fun debating some of their dumb asses.

if Cali legalized Cannabis then how could our state say Cannabis is too dangerous to use as a medicine when its safe enough for Legalization.

if prop19 passes then it will be easy to know who i am if you frequent any PUFMM meetings in Orlando.

probably shouldnt out my self but im tired of hiding. im not wanting to go to jail just wanting change at any cost. if that means going to jail and fighting it all the way to the Fla supreme court then so be it.

lucky for me the Fla supreme court will overturn any conviction since i meet all guidelines to claim a medical necessity defense.

I hear you SSH, I'm so sick of feeling like a hardened criminal over something so stupid as growing a plant that doesn't get synthesized or cooked or altered in any way.

After all it's just a effin' plant. Can you imagine if my muscadine grapes that I use to make wine were illegal to grow. Sounds preposterous right?

I have family that are legal in med states and sometimes it's tempting to pack up and move west. My wife and I are FL natives and it would kill us to give up all that we love here and if there is a slight possibility that we can be legal in the 4-5 years then I'm sticking it out and fighting all the way. We could live anywhere we want right now but we choose to be here and hope that we can get enough like minded people at the polls to help lead our idiotic politicians out of this ultra-conservative quagmire that we somehow exist in.

Pharma biz controls our FL politicians and unfortunately we have the death tolls to prove it. We need change, maybe even more than most states right now considering the pain clinic epidemic we suffer from.

We appreciate yours and the efforts of everyone else working for a better future SSH. Keep safe, Keep strong.

I'm with you guys, it's just a plant for God's sake!!! Every so often I have to remind myself not to be so paranoid about it all, but then I think of the repercussions if I get busted and I get all paranoid again.

Then again, paranoia has kept me safe and out of jail for a very long time.

C'mon fuckin oil well cap! HOLD!!!!!!!!!!:ying::ying::ying::ying:

Right on Evl. Hopefully it will and they can start cleaning up this mess. Even though it sounds like it will take years. So far no oil here on the west coast. But better get your fishing while you can.

Nice looking carpet munchers Komrade. More pics is always nice.

Quick question...It seems like 4 weeks in the norm for vegging. Is this written in store or is there some wiggle room? Just trying to put a timeline together for a perpetual grow with a harvest once a month. Need to figure out how long, how many and where to put them. Think I need a bigger closet.:dance013:

Evlme2...let's hope that BP can stop the leak. Cajun cookin in that area is decimated for god knows how long. Shrimp Etoufette ain't on the menu no mo.

Too Old....4 weeks works for me.

Start a new strain every month...harvest one....recover occasionally with a really short indica. Make the run list for the next 12 months...then spend evenings stoned adjusting it...hahaha. Great fun.

Loaded up the iolite with some Nebula and some bubble hash tonight...keep slipping outta time for 2 hours at a time. Wicked sativa confusion.

Thanks Komrade, since I'm doing clones for now, I guess I'll have to take the cuttings 2 weeks into flower. Hopefully that won't mess with the girls flowering.

After I get a couple of runs with this bagseed then I think I'll feel confident enough to start in on the real genetics.

Yeah, it'll be interesting if not fun. Just trying to figure out the logistics is giving me a head ache. I quess I'll just smoke a bowl, pop a beer and visit fantasyland.

FYI...growers as a community have had a breakthough, you can take clones from flowering plants, and it actually works BETTER than the vegging clones.

and dont even fuck with the bagseed bro. they have 10pks of seeds all over the bay for like 30 bucks...come on dude. dont bs and say you dont have 30 bucks.

ive grown out bagseeds a few times...and im always disappointed. either theyre all males, or hermies, or still some pretty shitty fucked up genes. Definitely get the feminised seeds if you can, but since you said you plan to clone, i wouldnt really worry about it. plant like half the seeds you buy, after they grow out take clones from them to find the sex, then keep the best mom and do your clone thing whenever you want. but i know you will be WAY happier if you were growing some hashberry or some shit instead of some random bagseed from who knows what.

and so i add something about my florida growing...uhm...oh yea! i started giving the girls h202 yesterday. not sure if i was giving them enough though. I really wanna get one of those hanna ppm meters :(

and a 4 week veg time will give you some HUGE plants dude. I vegged mine for 29 days, and they streched like woah. they have to be above 4' now, so next run im only going to veg for 2 weeks and see how that works out. looking for more of a SOG in a 4x4 instead of just a few massive plants

IonI agree wit 727, the veg time is TOTALLY strain dependent, and even pheno dependent on occasion. Ive had some Indicas that really need the 4 wks....then again If you tried that with Cinderella99 bx, you wont get shit but a plant that wont even hold herself up...

Iya been trying perpetual in a 3x3, and found that its totally possible doing it with different strains and whatnot, I just take from clone, and flower almost as soon as they take root < 2 wks....totally necessary for SOG on a small scale. Otherwise your plants are giving all the energy to other parts of the plant, not just the NUGGZ. Also if doing SOG, clip anything that is below the main canopy, it will NEVER develop and will only take away from the overall production of the REAL buds.

O yeh, and fuck the bagseed. Its just a waste of time. Would you rather go down for growing an elbow of trash, or for procuring some of the finest cannabis known to mankind? Either way youre putting the time and effort into it...Make it worth your while brother.

Just sayin.

Peace
