Yeh I notice that when my plants completely lockout nutes. Just looks like deficiencies...curling downward. Looks like some sort of cal+mag def. due to lockout possibly? I dunno how you feed, what water you use or anything though so it's hard to tell.

HYDROPONICS/Aero Ponics/Coco/Soiless/

How long has this problem been going on? 2-2.5 weeks

Are you growing in a PVC grow tent? (example: Hydrohut or any other non brand tents) - NO

What system are you running? (DWC? Ebb flow? Aero? Water Farm? Flood Tables? and so on...) – Top Feed (Drip)

What STRAIN are you growing? – White Widow

What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?) - Seed

What is the age of your plants? - 2.5 months (from seed)

How long have they been in there mixture they are in now?(coco,soiless etc..) – Approx 2 months

How tall are the plants? – 10-12”

What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? - Vegetative

What Technique are you using? – Technique???

What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) - Coco plug w/ Coco Chips

What is the Water temperature? – 72˚

What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy? – White and very little light brown/ No slime

What Nutrient's are you using?(If growing soiless) – “AN” Sensi A/B

How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water?*Knowing the brand is very helpful* - “AN” – Equal parts of A and B till I get to 1200-1300 ppm. Also, I recently put CalMag in 2 days ago to see if anything changes.

How often are you feeding? (If using soiless) – Twice a day - Every other day

How often are you giving nutrients? (If using soiless) - ????

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? - N/A

What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect) – Throwing Sensi A first to rez;wait for meter to adjust, then throw in B.

What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? – PPM now is at 1300-1350

What is the pH of the "Tank"? – 5.5-5.6

Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment? - Yes

When was your last watering? – Last night

What is your water temps? – 72˚

When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional) – 2 weeks ago

How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients? – Been in system for 2-3 weeks (not yet changed)

What size bulb are you using? – T8 (CFL)

What is the distance to the canopy? – Approx. 4”

What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)? – Humidity is between 52 and 60.

What is the canopy temperature? – Didn’t get to measure, but I would say 73-74˚

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range) – Day can reach between 76˚-78˚. Night, 70˚-72˚

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) – Osc. Fan every now and then.

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? - N/A

Is the fan blowing directly at plants? – Yes, but far enough that it’s a slight breeze.

Is your water HARD or SOFT? - Hard

What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? – RO water (0 ppm/6-7 pH)

Are you using water from a water softener? - ???

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched - No

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? – Neem Oil. I sprayed once a day for 3 or 4 days last week, then stopped for 3 days. I sprayed again 2 days ago

Are plant's infected with pest's – Fungus gnat here and there. Also, there is an unknown one that I see w/ a UV flashlight under the leaf. Not sure what it is.

*All of this is going on in a 54 Gallon Rubbermaid tote. I have added about 11-12 gallons of distilled/RO water

Change your water man.
Once a week.
Thats my only suggestion. Especially with that many to one rez.
Are you watching your pH fluctuation?
I prefer to let it fluctuate rather than to try and keep it exact...they get a mre full spectrum of nutrient uptake...then again I use DWC but I imagine it would be consistent throughout systems.
How fast do they go through the nutes in the Rez? Are they drinking more water than nutes (pH fluctuation)....etc.?
Looking good up until now man...this is why I think it could be the water...

I agree with Ioni, Change your rez once a week and always a fan on them, make them have stronger stems and keeps away mold and other nasties

The system is a top fee (drip) system. I honestly didn't start them out myself. I had a friend help me start them out, but he's unreliable. At this point I'm trying to find help from anywhere. As for the feeding cycle, I made it up. I spent a pretty penny on those seeds, so I decided to implement that feeding in order to NOT over feed them. I got these buggers literally from one day to the next, so I didn't have much time to research/study.

Is it a recirc or dtw? I ask because you MAY be slightly under feeding them cal. I suspect if you feed them daily instead of e.o.d. they will not get any worse. I could be totally wrong. Especially 'cause I don't know much about the nutes you're using (ratio's etc).

It's a recirc. I use Advanced Nutrients Sensi A and B, and to tell you the truth, I did what it said on the side, lol. It says to add equal parts of both until you reach the desired ppm (if i'm not mistaken). Of course, I add the A first, let the meter spike and settle, then add B.

IDK... I think I'm gonna take Ioni route and change the rez water tonight. I guess I will redo everything like the beginning. Anyone have a good feeding cycle idea?

Sorry I use Ebb and Flow, all I have to do is add new nutrients in with the reservoir change once a week, thats all, during the rest the week I just replace the water and keep the PH between 5.5 and 6.0 If yours recirculates the water into the rez I would try to feed just once a week as you change the reservoir, the other good reason to change the rez once a week is that the plants do take what nutes they can or need out so when you replace them once a week, any specific ones they had already used up such as Nitrogen or Calcium or magnesium get replaced when you redo the rez Just my thoughts

I WANTED to throw this little bit of Information up on the "Florida Growers Thread" so as to get a Jump on 2010.

I have a "Summer Home" in the Central Florida area, and visit their frequently. However I would like to see if we can iniate a movement here on IC MAG for "MORE" involvement from the Full Time Florida Folks so as to get the Medicinal Cannabis iniative on the ballot...

As some of you may know since the 17, of 2008, Gov. Charlie Crist signed into law HB173/SB390, which carelessly lumps real drug dealers and small time offenders into the same category by creating the ridiculous judicial presumption that as few as 25 marijuana plants — one-fourth the amount the federal government considers a trafficking threshold — makes one a "drug trafficker." Florida already HAS the dubious honor of having the nation's harshest marijuana possession laws — less than 20 grams can land you in jail for a year and cost you $1,000. Even worse, possession of more than 20 grams is a felony. This new law puts Florida even further ahead of the draconian pack as the Sunshine State can now claim a trafficking standard 4 times as tough as the Federal Government's!.

So, with ALL that said. How about we here @ IC Mag do what we do BEST. Spread the word. And lets see if WE CAN change these outdated, outlandish, ridiculous and (draconian) laws here.
