My Power Went Out For 2 Days And I am wanting to no what is my Plants that are In 12/12 going to do with all that Dark. Will they be ok. I am having the poswer turned back on tomarrow but they have ben with out light for 2 Days now. Any Idea what it will do to My Girls.

it shouldnt be anything, but it can cause stress. as long as they werent overly stressed from other things like heat, lack of fresh air.
if the plants you have are prone to hermie, then it could cause them to turn. if i was you i would have at least put a lantern or flashlight in the room. i keep a led lantern right there just incase.

my power goes down at least 3 times a week...I live on the bitter end of the grid here in the swamp...IGYB, no problems with the dark as good drown has said but if they are weak to begin with there may be hermie issues...you'll see little nanners on the buds but it has no effect on how well it smokes, just an issue with the appearance...if they hermie early you may find a few beans here and there but nothing to lose sleep over...theres lossa shit that keeps me awake but not the lights going off

FPL is getting very expensive. I was wonder how much it would cost to setup a solor charging battery system to run 400w for 18hrs per day. I was thinking of a generator/solor system, but I don't think it would be wise to run a generator in FL and no hurricanes (smile).

thats pretty amazing. in the few years i've been here, i have lost power maybe 8-10 times. most of them are overnight, and i wake up to see blinking clocks( so i never really experience it). only 1 time it happened while i was home, and took more than 10 seconds to come on. i put the lantern in the room and 2 minutes later power came back on.
do you notice bulbs and ballasts not lasting as long as they should?

its expensive, i know somebody who did this up north to power his entire house. the most expensive part is the batteries. you have to get really good ones. you want to be able to absorb alot more power than you are currentlly using, so incase there is alot of cloudy days and rain.
to power just 1 400w though, thats not bad. i bet just 1 battery is needed.
he was in the north east, and needed a ton of batteries because he may only get like 4 hours sunlight a day max. so he needed to be able to collect 10x more than he needed, and store it for overnight, rain, cloudy days. he did eventually have pay money and run power lines so he could hook up to the grid. its a tad scary being on maine and ONLY having solar power.

edit: on a side note, you can sell you excess power back to the power company for a decent price. alot of people end up having the power company pay them every month.

the plant counts here suck, im not anywhere near 25 but i see that being a problem once i get better at growing and want a few different mothers then clones in veg and the ones in flower, definitly over 25.

oh well, lets overgrow the sunshine state.

KILLA, that pr x pk has the sickest purple ive seen. i showed my brother, who is an artist, and he said what i first thought "It Looks Photoshopped".

No photoshop(I have no clue even how to start photoshop up), but i do use lightroom sometime, and only the auto balence and auto tone control...just to take out the color my HPS gives off! I wouldnt ever have time to photoshop all those pics....The color is what it is....

Ive heard all types of things from people that have actually seen the bud first hand:

1. You dye your pot! (HOW?)
2. You use food coloring in your plant food! (Why doesnt everyone do it then!)
3. I placed a bud in a glass of water and it turned the whole glass purple! (Are you kidding!)
4. Somehow you paint your weed! (ya, i love the combination of paint and dank!)

Ive heard it all..... Secret has a log up.....check his log and look what his one female looks like....bet ya she turns purple for ya!

That is if the park will alow it, I am going to check With them tomarrow and see if they will let me do some thing like this, By the time I am done with every thing to do the Whole house and then Put back power to the grid when I am not using it I should get A Check from FPL at the end of the month pluss have free power. Well at least when I pay it off LOL LOL

That way there will not be A Big power bill to run up A red Flag.

What you all think, It should pay for itself in about 6 months then its all free from there and making me $$$$ back into the Grid

good drown, my ballasts are 9 years old and the lamps get replaced every 8 months so no, never seem anomilies here at the swamp...I hardly notice it anymore except when the power is down for hours...that sucks but nothing a genset wont cure...our here we is powered up with tri fuel gensets that make the sky hum...

alot of the houses in fl that have solar have a pool. do you? just a thought.
also, if its your power bill that is causing stress, dont worry so much. since we live in fl, and the sun is hot, some people have very high bills depending on their preference. i've seen 2 houses next door to each other, one running about $150 a month because no a/c and the save energy, other house, $750 a month because they keep it at 70 degrees. this is now the 5th month in a row with the houses having huge bills, and nothing has happened, or will.
for your power bill to matter, there must be other reasons they are looking into you, like you frequent the grow shop, or neighbors complain about a grow house, or someone gets arrested and rats you out.

I just got my new place 2 Months Ago and told the park I would get the Power put in my name At the Middle of this Month, So like A Dum Ass I Wated to long and they had there power turned of with out telling me so I went there tonight to Feed and No power. So tomarrow I am going to get it Turned Back On, I am just so DUM But They told me I had untill the middle of the Month, The 16 to be Excite So I Dont put my fath it there words any more. I just make sure I do it myself from now on. My Mistake and I will Take The Blame But I Am Still Having Fun and Getting Bigger All the time. Good things are A coming this year for sure
