Hey Flipmaster,

Do you have a grow sitting in the dark? Is it outdoors? A hurricane can destroy a crop faster than spidermites, I remember not having power for three days, I got a rechargeable flourescent light, that stayed in the growroom, and stayed lit for all 3 days! Hope the rebuilding goes smmoth. Aint mother nature a bitch sometimes?

Well looks like I am starting from scratch again. All my outside plants are history along w/ a small # of plants I had indoors. Which is fine w/ me because I was using bagseed. Now I have some really good genetics from some of my friends here at icmag so I am anxious to start working w/ some great genetics.

Where's everone at?? I have not heard from very many fla. growers since the hurricane. How did everyone make out? It was a total loss for me as far as my garden goes but thank god I didnt have much to lose.except my afghani mother,Which I was never sure of its real genetics anyways.

Also a question for you outside fla. growers? How many harvests do you ussually harvest outside? I was just wondering how many outside harvests would be possible w/ a year round mother and clones inside? Thanks,Mike

PS my prayers go out to any fla. growers that live in Punta gorda, seems like they got hit the worse. Many people lost everything they own and many people lost their lives. My friend is currently serving in the National gaurd and is stationed in Punta Gorda he said they have no idea what the death toll is yet because they have so many mobile homes that are flattened and have not been searched yet.Its a scary thing. I feel lucky I only lost my garden,Mike

Well dely here finally has power, fun times, how did everyone else make out? its flooded all over gainesville, in my friends neighborhood they had to pave a road THRU HIS BACKYARD in order to get the hundreds of people that live there a way around the lake that is now the entrance, good news though, the city paid him 10000 dollars to RENT that portion of his property for the next year, so we are investing in a colleseum and a mushroom kit!!!!

good deal!!! My buddy sold the first few yards of his property to the city for $$$! All is good over here on the east coast. I am about mid-state and we have ALOT of debris and fallen trees. There are still some without power......my ex-mother-in-law just got power today.
I went about 48 hours without power. Not to bad except I do 95% hydro. I hand watered every 8 hours for two days!! I was not going to lose my ladies!! There was some lime green on the tops of the plants from lack of light......but as soon as the lights came on they snapped back into it in a day or two!!!

Hope everyone else faired well.....

you can double post that one Aquaman. same here i'm so sick of all the canes an the bullshit that comes with them.

Looks like we have another hurricane on the way.You guys on the east coast are gonna get hit first this time.Good luck to everyone.I hope this one doesnt effect us on the west coast.Last time I was without power for a week. Killed everything in my room:( It actually gave me a reason to start over again. But this time with good genes. I now have 2 C99 x sour diesel(galadriel),3 g13 x hashplant f2's,1 Blue mystic and 1 mango. So I would really hate to be without power again.

HOG lost that huge plant last cane,, damn that hurt almost as much as 7/8th of mine falling victom to mold and loss of all moms and clones, well lost to flowwering because I had to set them outside for the 10 days with no power, from there no turning back.
SYKO2, Grow on OG did it for me copied and pasted and told me to take out a dot. was so simple I knew I would feel dumb when it was done, but hey happy with my links :)

Relief!

Relief!

Hello everybody. I haven't remembered to check in here because I don't get e-mail notices when the topic gets a reply. I came here today to bring some good news to those of you hurt by the hurricanes. Help is on the way!

Millions of people haven't had electricity for a month and a half. Hydro growers lost everything. Indoor dirt growers put their moms outside where they started to flower. Outdoor growers (including the ones who were indoor growers before the storms) lost plants to wind damage and debris falling on their plants. The plants that survived the winds were lost to mold from weeks of rain and clouds. That happened to me. Also, many people who weren't directly hit by the worst part of the storms still had to spend six weeks hunkering down, boarding up, unboarding, cleaning up, only to start all over every week, so we've lost plants due to neglect. That happened to me too.

Anyway, help is on the way for people who need to start over from seed. This doesn't help me, because I didn't lose my genetics, I just lost all of my harvest for the current grow and I've been set back from starting my next one. Hopefully, this will help some of you fellow Florida farmers.

The following message was posted by Gypsy for Florida growers. He said I could spread it around.

....well.....4 hurricanes in 6 weeks.....you guys have had it BAD!

....and you deserve all the relief and help that you can get....

....I have many seeds to share.....and in Florida ...if the weather stays good....I am sure that they will grow well!

If there are any commercial growers out there. You should step up your production. There will be a big weed shortage in Florida for at least another six months.
