Happy Monday all my fellow Florida folks! Was a blurry weekend, hope to catch up on the garden today....spent most of the weekend being SCHNAZZED 
Sounds good SSH, I'm within an hour as well, but I'm taking the whole weekend as a little getaway. Nice room, nice view, nice food, nice show, nice folks, GREAT smoke!
Damn I wish HTG was open on Mondays!!!

Enjoy your gardening today, guys. It is a great day to be outdoors if you like fresh air and sunshine. Personally, I prefer shade and air conditioning.
Have any of you ever tried an iso wash on fan leaves without any close trim? I usually use my fan leaves for cannabutter, but I wonder what kind of yield and quality you get from iso when you use such low quality raw material.

Big fan of iso washes here....but have never done it with just fan leaves. Would need a lot for sure...and a large strainer and filter set-up as they are so fluffy.
My set-up uses the small mesh filter, mason jar, and normal coffee filter...so I focus on small runs.
My thought is by the time you save up enough fanleaves, you may as well do a bubble run. I would think a L of leaves should give you a q or more of nice quality bubble.
Also think there may be a ton of the chlorophyll and other nasties in the leaves that would make the iso not so tasty...but who knows.

edit - mailman just handed me my new EHLE tube with activated carbon and diffuser...going to be a blindingly fun day once the wife heads off!!!

That was iso man! It tilted my whole weekend to the side

It's been pretty dry in central Florida. Hope all you outdoor guys are doing ok. Due to some financial issues, I won't be able to start my next grow which will be my first scrog grow for quite a while if not ever. I don't even have the extra cash to build the scrogs so I'm just in limbo right now

Thanks, OGH. That's what I thought about using fan leaves for iso, and it's why I haven't tried iso yet. I think the best thing for fan leaves is to save up several pounds and make a big batch of cannabutter. Over the years I have at times received fan leaves from bigger growers or I have purchased it because it would take me forever to accumulate that much leaf on my own. My sources of leaf have run dry, so I was looking for something to do with this small amount I already have. I guess I'll just hang on to it for now.
I have tried bubble bags and bhoe too. The bho I made from males and females in veg tasted nasty. I made it seven years ago and I still have almost all of it.

Afternoon fellow floridians...just chill smokin some QX-1 myself (that stuff almost gets me too high lol dont know if thats possible but it feels like it )....OGH iso is def some fun stuff, it will definatly get you blitzed...you should give BHO a run though, that stuff puts my iso i use to make to shame....tropical def if your makin BHO you want to use the good stuff i.e. Sugar leaves, bud shake, things that have trichomes on them...not tryin to sound like a dick, because i have done a run just like you said (of fan leaves and not so sugary leaves) and it turned out gross (still have it too)...if you do BHO right IMHO that its the way to go hash wise...Peace

i need a little help. the other day i met some guys at a local hydro store. one thing lead to another and we ended up tradeing genetics. i know the post on this forum. I got da purps and juicy fruit from a guy that called himself "J". I would love it if anybody in central florida knew of him. yes, i know its a huge shot in the dark. I have had luck traking old friends down on "OG" back in the day.

Hi guys. Last week of being clean before my piss test on Friday. The clones are planted and starting to veg for a week, then into the cab! Hope everybody is doing great, I know the weather is!!!!

I was speaking to trop about the iso endeavours I have had recently...I use the finger leaves and have had excellent results...I'll show y'all in november...ahahahaha...anyone have any ideas how to get in saturday or is it just sunday for us peons...

I made F2 of these and i still keep a mother around for now!
I have 7 more of these in my tent which are twice as large and have a bit more purple and trics.....This was grown in my normal breeding box.....which is a carboard box with 6 CFL's and is 24"x17"x26"....Ive been running this box..for over 2 years now with the best yield of 97gms.... I have 6 plants in there now...ill keep you all post!

Personally, Ive only tried it during my seeded f2 run, so i havent really had the chance to test it properly....
Besides that....my Purple Kush x Purple Rhino seeded bud blew the Purple Wreck seeded bud out of the water.....i hope its not like that with the unseeded bud...but i am waiting till i give it a proper cure! Then ill test the PW again....
My Purple Kush x Purple Rhino is some strong smoke.....the seeds i keep and the amount of rhino characteristics are way more prodominate than the kush phenos or characteristics...And we all know how potent white rhino is!

Heres a old pic of the Cardboard box stuffed.....this is the run that yielded 97 gms.....trust me...i think this cost me $30 to build....over 10 runs in it already....over 2lbs.....for $30......I typically use it now for breeding but this run i decided not to breed in it!
I will be breeding again in the next few week.....
I will be doing a Special Breeding Project for the 3 forums i post on....I will call it the 12 days of Christmas/8 days of Hanukkah.....Starting December 11 first day of Hanukkah i will be giving out packs of seeds every day till Christmas of my seed run that i will document... i plan to run this seed run just for this thread....I probably pollenate 2 purple kush x purple Rhino F2 with some pollen saved up from my origanal F1 father!
Im gonna be posting a thread of all my work over the next few months......if you thought i was showing off now.....the next show will be gross!
