That is 1 FROSTY bitch you got there Coba. Nice job.

No pics from me as I'm having nothing but problems since I set up the new room. Lost the big Amnesia x TT completely. The clone from it recovered but both it and the WFA#6 x TT took a hit from the issues. I'll be lucky to net 2 zips when this is done. I have clones of everything so nothing is lost but recovery will take a bit.

Think I have everything straight finally but this round is going to suck on quantity and the next round should have started weeks ago but those clones were lost from the issues and the current clones are not big enough to flower.

If you don't mind me asking what happen bro ? Man that sucks ass I'm sorry that your having problems hopefull things will turn around for you :tiphat:

Can whiteflies be eliminated from a garden indoors? Or can they only really be managed, and the only real way to eliminate them is to tear down the entire garden, remove all plants, treat the room, etc and start over from seeds? Currently there is probably a 1 in 5 chance that when you flip a lower leaf over, you'll see a single white fly and some eggs. Shaking a plant will cause 3-4 to flutter up and re-land.

I haven't tried predatory bugs or parasites yet, but I have been using sticky traps (which do like nothing), Pyrethrin Garden Insect Spray (Works good, has to be on contact), and Doktor Doom fogger (works great at killing already alive adults, doesn't get the eggs though). I'm wondering what I should do, because they definately cause damage to my plants from all the holes and sucking. My plants are already stressed from heat, the bugs just complicate things even more.

To be perfectly honest though, I haven't done the 3-3-3 method completely yet, it's a REAL pain to pull every plant out of the room, into somewhere it can be sprayed, and then let them dry and put them back, all while having to interrupt the light cycle for a day each time.

Looking for advice on those that have used the predatory bugs before and/or eradicated white flies successfully before.

No useful idiot had white flyies, he managed to save some elites ,but they destroyed a lot of his keepers by the time he took care of it.i believe he had to treat a few times to get rid of them,I know it didn't happen over night.i can try and kind out how he got rid of them if you want

i have dealt with them many times and all ive used is 2 ml neem and a few drops of soap in my spray bottle. spray them very thorough every day until they are gone. i also shake the plants good to get them flying and they go to the yellow sticky card. also defoliate if you have a lot of leaves.

fyi, i only spray them in veg and the first week of flower.

peace

whiteflies are scary. never had them on a cannabis plant (knock on wood) but I've seen those fucks destroy a 10' hibiscus bush. like it was made out of white stringy cotton. if you shook it 1000's would flutter like a winter wonderland but waaaaay gross.

you can puchase lady bugs and whitefly parasitoid wasps (Encarsia formosa ) online. Ladybugs completely eliminated the aphids I had on my Datil peppers this spring, eggs and all. I've looked and can't see one aphid. the egg killers are their nymphs and it helps if you can get them(adult ladybugs) to lay eggs directly on the infested plant. the nymphs go from about the size of a tiny sugar ant to the size a fat pencil eraser in days... swollen large from feasting on pests, their larvae and their eggs. Also, it helps a lot to have tiny flowers, like the ones on coriander or parsley or basil when it flowers or bolts, growing along side the infested plants so that the adult lady bugs and the adult parasitoid wasps have food to eat while you wait for their nymphs and larvae to hatch and devour the pests.

that is the biggest problem that I read online about predator insects is that they either die or fly away. Having some yummy nectar (the adults food) from little flowers for them to eat in the down time I think, is the key to success. Most people don't want to buy already bolting herbs and lettuce because it makes the vegetation too bitter when they flower out. so, most nurseries try to not have bolted herbs and veggies sitting around for very long so you may need to drive around and visit a few to find the right herbs selections that about to flower out or bolt. wouldn't hurt to ask either... I had a dude look at me like I was speaking Russian. But, after I explained why I wanted the pariah herbs selection... for ladybug food... he was very helpful and showed me the "discount" section (a gathering of half dead, unsellable plants ready for the compost heap) where I found what I was looking for.

good luck, I hope this helped a little
