Great point Cheeb, I have a ton of ACE gear I was planning on running outside in the fall - Zameldica, Malawi, OTH & Golden Tiger.

Rethinking that plan now and considering my cabinet instead and 12/12 from seed and reducing to 10/14 to get them to finish. Given our long days even in winter, I'm afraid these might start foxtailing and never really finish correctly outside.

Need to go research and decide soon, need to pop these beans before it gets too F'n hot and I just launched 8 plants into flower in the cab that won't be done until July 4th....https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=7438401&postcount=126

i flowered the Zamadelica's 120 days and there were still some white hairs growing when i chopped her...i dont remember how cloudy/amber the trichs were.

i was using dry Maxibloom @ 1 small scoop per gal h2o, its low on N and perfect for nute sensitive Sativas.

every Sativa ACE has i want to run so it makes it hard to decide which strain to buy.

i have a lot of ace's gear. bangi haze will finish first half of october. nepal jam will be the same. last season i found that you can find in the malawi strain there is a fast finisher and then some that will go December(old killer) . if you look in ace site look for a grow from mikeandnaomi he done the malawi,zamaldelica, and a few others in pots and they finished up good for them.

good luck with the old timers. they take forever but i think they would even finish outdoors here with no problem just plant late. i bet they would take 2 months from seed to start showing flower if not more.

Hye guys i just wanted to check in, Im doing good and my plants are all doing great! I have been trying out different training and trimming techniques on different plants in a effort to decide what i like best, so far i like LST for training and the FEM technique for trimming, Im trying to get bushy plants and its working out! You guys are so far ahead of me in experience so i'm just riding that learning curve for the moment. I cant wait to start flowering and its hard to be patent!

Well Tomorrow is 4/20 so made myself a little treat. Had about an Oz of trim in the freezer so decided to make some bubble hash for tomorrow.

Not bad as this wasn't the frostiest trim. Couple grams of good full melt though.

I got respect for you guys that grow out Sativas or Lanrace strains. I just can't do it and I've never found one that I really like. I am just an Indica or hybrid guy. I am not a big fan of haze either. Blue Dream has been the only heavy sativa/haze leaning strain I've ran that I really liked growing and smoking.

I just gift my sativa stuff too Cheebs. Lol Speaking of have you popped any more of those JH x CG Morcheeba? That was a cross that definitely had potential.

I didn't start with Sativas by choice I had bag seed. And though it is not a pure Sativa it is very heavy. First grow I had a foot long top cola growing at 90 degrees to the light because I had to supercrop it mid flower. I now prefer it for SCROG over more indica versions. The bigger spacing between nodes on sativas make it easier to tuck under the net. At least for me, I find indicas better for single cola and sativa dominant for SCROG

im waiting on some seeds to sprout now so those are next. Hugh is vegging the others that came with them so ill find out how they are going.

after the first batch of JH x CG im excited to get these going. the last keeper i had got flipped around 18" and she finished at 5'. she had great vigor and structure and it was easy to get 3-4 oz dry off her under a 600w. sounds like too much but its one of the few plants ive weighed b/c of how much she put out.

ill see shortly how these do.

EDIT: do you know if these are out of the seedline Columbian Jack from Brazilian Seed Co? from their description its very similar.

I was in the same place when I picked my beans, tried to get a little of everything without really thinking about execution. Gonna take awhile to run all these.....

How strong do they smell flboy? My plan was to pop all 10 seeds and do an open pollination and then pheno hunt from those seeds. May still do that but that's gonna tie up the cab for 4 months so I may still give it a go outside.

You've been very generous and not just to Cheeb . Got those Sour Hazy Jones beans flipped and will post pics when there's something worth seeing.

Nope they were made by Gage Green Genetics. Not sure if they released them to the public or not. The lineage is Jack Herrer x Columbian Gold.

i don't think the odor would be bad on them. the only thing is you need to look at it like taking more than the better part of 6 months. oth can take up to 24 weeks to bloom(reason i don't have them) you could knock off a little of that time down with clones. as far as pheno hunting. one pheno is the purple haze and the other is the green pheno. you know i have the purple haze x malawi and one took till november to finish and the more purple one would have gone into january if i let it. it didn't show pistils till mid september out side.
