Yes sir, that's kudzu. I like to use it as fodder for worm food and compost.hey thks bud....seen ya post in that living soil thread(i think thats what it was), where you had some vegetation or weeds you posted a pic of..???, one of the pics had these cars covered in them, and you said there were like 2-3 other cars in there...
have you ever incorporated them into soil mix,and or a foilary spray?
elephant ears,NOW WERE TALKING, i see those all over the place,....so obviously my next question is,once i get my hands on some, what do you do with it,just let it compost/cook away in the soil??, do you shread/tear it up? or put in whole?Yes sir, that's kudzu. The Chinese also sell kudzu pellets (similar to alfalfa pellets) sold online as fertilizer.
check out this website. http://www.ars-grin.gov/duke/plants.html
kudzu is a nutrient accumulator, high in N and P. there are a lot of local plants in that database. taro/elephant ear is another good one to use if you're into that kind of stuff.
it's just too powerful and too cheap for me to not use it.
I don't do much foliar feeding though. unless you count spinosad mixed with neem and aloe.
