The HIDs are in storage for right now...at least for the summer but am hoping I am satisfied enough to just keep using the LEDs from here on out. Day 5

Huey, I went w/ Illumitek Neosol NS and Neosol LS's. The NS is supposed to be the equiv of 600W and the LS equiv of 100W. They were 50% off during April. Also, just ran across a DIY COB project on here that runs about $700

Appreciate the advice. Only problem right now is that in the 2x2.5 tent, I can't figure out a way to put a carbon filter, inline fan, and an enclosed HID in there. That's why I build the CFL reflectors myself, as they don't require any sealed glass to keep the heat in check from burning the tops of the plants. Think I'll scrap the other 2 (unless someone wants) and just go with the big boy in a scrog that looks almost identical to unreg190's.

Not a real true first smoke report as I have had a few beers as well.....but couldn't resist and twisted up one of the VG testers....spicy taste w/ some vanilla undertones maybe? this was #1 and had the least fade of all and was still really smooth. End effect......fucked up like a fruit loop

You're pushing through your filter, which I've always read is not a good idea for having it work properly and it reduces the life of the fan from what I understand. I think if i want a bigger light with a sealed reflector, I just need a bigger tent
Also, the way I look at it, since it's a scrog, the penetration is not as important in this setup.

Morcheeba - I guess what I'm wondering is, have you had those experiences? Does it not take out all the smell, do you get a negative pressure situation in your tent like you want, have you had to replace any fans? Sorry, wasn't trying to attack or sound like you don't know what you're talking about. Came out as a statement more than a question.

Oh the joys of exiting seedlinghood. The nervous morning checks are over.
So my jars are full enough to last me for some time......even thought about buying one of them Food Saver thingies (vacuum seal freezer bag machine) so I can store even longer w/o worry of too much degradation.
That being said I got time to play in making a few seeds......this is a hobby for sure and nothing else...something else cool to occupy my free time.
Going to try reversing the WIFI #6 I was gifted and hitting the Triangle Trip that came to my garden as a gift as well
Was going to pm GrownOut to ask for his blessings since using his work but he hasn't been on here at all in 2015. Hope all is well with him. Have two WIFIs so one is going to be used just for collecting the pollen and the other I will continue to flower to try and get S1s from.

i have good neg pressure and the same fan in the same config. for several yrs. w/no issues. i replace the filter as needed but unsure if i get shorter life from them due to how they are connected.
toked a few bowls of gg4 and my photographer left so pics on another day.
