Checkin in safe. All good here, good news, I might be putting something together in the works. Time to start shaking off the bad luck streak. Hoping for a good summer...

Unreg, how is at 70? furthest I let mine go was 65, shit had me stupid, so figured 70 was too much lol.

EDIT: I forgot to thank everyone for showing me love, good words, and motivation. I'd like to thank everyone who showed me love and wished me the best. Truly a great community here

For all that keep mom's around.....do you mind sharing what size containers you use...light for them? Trying to come up with a good setup to keep say 8 moms.....I do not need cuts often at all....but know the smaller containers need more attention as in watering.

Forgot to post pics of WIFI #6 the other day...coming up.

i keep the ones i have in 1 quart pots. those 4x5inch tapered things. i have to water almost every day. i cut em back a lot when i get tired of constant watering. they are fairly drought tolerant. but they also suck up a lot of water. if you keep em as small as you can you can get a day or two between waterings. or if you go oversize pots you can just let em grow slowly and water once in a while like a houseplant. but i don't have that much room. so small pots it is. they sit in my veg cab under 100w mh. i keep em in the corners so they don't get too much light and grow too fast. pretty much i just need em to stay alive. i feed light, let em grow crazy prune back, repeat.

this is my NL (deceased) mom on the left and my old wbk/weezy mom on the right side before i transplanted into the pot sized like the one on the left. it was in this 1 quart pot for almost 2 years and i flowered and reveged it like 2-3 times. just chop back and try and shape as best you can, it gets crazy real fast as you know.

i keep mine in 1 gal pot & keep cut back.
sometimes i use a 5"x5 "square
but im in coco & automated feed/watering so size doesent realy matter.
if i flower the mom out later ,ofcorse i up pot to biger pot.
i realy dont have the space to keep moms, so most of the time i just take a cut or 2 to replace a mom, same size pot just smaller plant.

I used to keep moms in 7 gal grow bags. But that was because I was running a clone factory to supply cuts to fill a 4 x 8 flood table with 3" cubes. Needed lots of cuts, all the time. Plus with the 7's , the plant can take multiple near death hacks and still grow back like nothing happened because of the root space.

Now I'm running way less numbers I keep moms in 3 gal grow bags. They seem to be working good. But I can already tell that I'm gonna need to "re-mother" plants a lot more aften than with 7's. With 7's I could get 6 months to a year without having to make a new mother.

Also have used 1 gal nursery pots with alright results. Usually in those I let them get to a good size, clone them to death, then use 1 cut to make a new mom.

unreg ,5" pots that i water when dry , probably every other day cuz of weak lighting . i use a 4' 2 bulb T5 to keep them lit . i just keep them trimmed back till i need cuts from them & then i stick them in under the big T5 rack & feedem fast & heavy to get decent sized cuts . i only need 4 to 6 cuts depending on what strain .

I use the exact same ones as dans, less lighting than veg so I don't gotta feed everyday, been meaning to set something up to switch to 1 gallon buckets of soil but haven't got around to it

I did forget to mention that i replace each one with a fresh clone about once a year . they tend to get to rootbound & start looking like shit after that long . its easier to just pop a new clone in a new pot of coco & train it than to cut the rootball back & use new coco like the thread recomends .

Forgot to say yesterday, I use mostly t8's for my moms. Keeps the growth slow. When I need it, I have some t5's to grow em' back fast.

You guys have seen the t8 shoplights with 4 bulbs right next to each other right? I used to have 5 of those next to each other with boards on each end to hold them all together. You wanna talk about a heavy motherfucker!!!! Broke more than one light yo-yo. So switched over to rope ratchets..

is that how you tell the dangerous ones? round vs slitted eyes?

picture.php

my current situation. these things are overfed and i'm starting to flush and chop.

picture.php

new guys are humming along. bsk#2 @ 14 days pretty impressive (to me anyway lol) doing much better than the first run. i'm glad i decided to run it a second time.

picture.php

weezy@ 13 i dusted 2 branches. one got my mf3 pollen (gonna be a [blueberryxogk]x[unknownawesomexblueberry] thing) looking forward to those, second branch is crossed fingers viable hermie pollen from the goldrush(aka dicklicker) the clone didn't make it. all i have left are 1 more original seed and all the seeds i got from the cross with bsk. and these 2 nanners i found in the last piece of bud i had from her.

picture.php

this "alive in tuscon" i think it might be another bsk offspring based on the leaves. argh. i was hoping it was one of my older rarer seeds that didn't pop.

picture.php

finally... think i can save this cut? lol watch me perform miracles.
