bug, I had never heard of needing to decarb until Hugh mentioned.....I probably had run across b4 but never paid attention. Didn't read into it too much but taking THCA ------>and then ending up with THC (w/o the A) which is what one needs for a "high".

About top spark up a Fire Alien Romulan joint :smoke out:

someone in another thread thought this was a bud stretching to the light. didn't have the heart to tell em it's just so heavy it's leaning the whole plant over. they wanna think i'm the worst grower ever. let em.

picture.php

did someone say proppin floppies?

picture.php

StrawDeez @47, waaaay better than last run lol. i still need to figure out a way to eliminate all this larf at the bottom. even with the lollipopping didn't keep it off. anyway i finally got around to buying some stakes. they got em at lowes fairly cheap compared to walmart and casa de pot. 4 footers for a buck a piece. prolly too much to pay if you need em in bulk. prolly cheaper online. but i only needed 6 of em so... lol...

this is my new goto method for rooting clones in coco. they have roots in less than a week. this is after 10 days and i almost didn't get em apart. thang thang #1 getting a transplant. only need 3 of these. kept 4. tossed the other 2. still trying to learn to let go. lol i don't even have room for half these seedlings yet i can't force myself to kill anything. transplanted the #12 few days ago. next run gonna do a #1 and #12 side by side short and bushy. i don't have much promise for the #3, might just run em again from clone with little / no veg.

looking good all around guys. what do you do about the summer? my AC is gonna be on all the time anyway...so i will continue my growing year round. i'd like to do some gorrila but not much natural vegetation anywhere i've been yet. everything i think is "woods" is just some shitty barrier between apt complexes.

might just have to wait till 2016 when amendment 2 goes through and grow in my backyard like LG.

Morning fellas :woohoo:

My Fire Alien Romulan will be the 1st strain I have started from seed and worthy of running again. The high is kind of a day-wrecker as I do not get much accomplished if smoked early in the morning. Love jamming out to some tunes and surfing the web when smoking this. Great evening smoke.

Gsizzle.......the Xmas tree smell....back in early 80's I remember one bag of smoke that really, really was like being in the middle of a pine forest. Never have smelled anything like that since.

well 5 weeks down on the White widow grow (35 days). You can see the Pheno that's having issues on the right side. Pulled a bud from it to see if I should even let it keep going. The bud kicked my ass at only 5 weeks. And dried in microwave to boot. Really need to get this strain dialed in. Definitely can't grow it with either of my other 2 strains. A Ph high enough for this strain locks out both of my other strains. And as you can see at lower Ph this pheno locks out bad also.

The Pheno that is doing well is really starting to get frosty...

ThangThangs @ 34 days
you should see what they looked like right before i staked em and took these pics.
picture.php

#1 a little overfed. or rather underwatered. also doesn't tolerate the heat as well as the other two.
picture.php

#12 happiest thing in there. buds are stringy so it might be a little overfed with nitrogen. but i think it's gonna come down to the thai genetics. the #12 and #tree are almost identical cept one is much bigger. same stringy buds, the #1 however grows more colombian/ mexican style round buds. this thing is very drought tolerant too. i dunno how long it's been getting underwatered. pot was almost dry when i took these pics at lights off. i had to lean it against the wall so it wouldn't fall over. still happy as a lark.
picture.php

#tree . both the #12 and #tree resemble indica's in the leaves and structure but the buds are mostly leaning to the thai influence. the #1 having the longest, narrowest, and most spread apart leaflets somehow seems to be the most indica in structure, but is sensitive to nutrients and light like a sativa.

picture.php

look at this ridiculousness. most of this was above the reflector. this thing is almost 5 feet. the stretch was insane. i was not prepared. at all. lol most of the plant is too tall to get light effectively. i've got clones vegging up. this is definitely one of those flower from rooted clone situations.

So far the #1 has gone from that faint lemony OG smell to a strong grapefruity funk. i'm lovin' it. imagine if there was a such thing as grapefruit pinesol.
the #12 still has that lemony OG smell very strong. very strong. i would say #1 is GrapeFruitKush and #12 is LemonKush
the #tree is so different from the rest. crazy. shortest bushiest, yet the buds are the most wispy fluff. the frost is light, but still fairly frosty. and the smells are nothing like the other two. it's like immediately recognizable as that black grease, if you've ever been in an auto shop. it smells like that automotive grease, and funky armpits. if the high is there imma call this cut "Gary the mechanic" lolbvs

Good Morning!

Freaking out this morning as I have discovered some critters in my medium :yoinks:

I have some in the freezer so I can get a better look at them under the scope. I have no clue w/ bugs so can anyone help ID these. White......when I disturb the coir they jump and crawl back into it......there are LOTS of these.....can not find anything on the plant itself...leaves or stem.

Bottom right...looks like a rabbit sitting there. Thanks in advance fellas!

i assume you mean these white dots here inside these yellow circles?

do they run or do they jump/fly?

if they run, do they always run from the light? if so they are soil mites. they're harmless. beneficial actually. i've had em in my soil since forever. like literally i first noticed em back in 2004-5 they're always present in organic media. along with springtails.

if they jump/fly away when you try and crush/capture one. then they're mostly likely springtails which are also harmless and or beneficial. i believe they are only there to help decompose. i have yet to figure out what they eat. you can colonize a bunch if you like by leaving something made of "plant" in a moist dark area. like a moist piece of wood in a corner of a room. when you flip it over you will see a bunch living on it...eating mold or something. outside too. flip over an old piece of twig or something on the ground you will see some springtails there too.

if you have concerns i would look into the watering schedule first. is this soil you're in? that green root in the shot appears to be a water root. those form when there's mostly water in the root zone. like this one.
