Great discussion about CO2 and humidity. Coming home and forgot all about humidity.
Left the dehumidifier off my shopping list. Thanks for the reminder.

Gonna study the CO2 more before I pull the trigger. Need something small scale for personal size in a tent. Gnome, the difference is significant and easily seen. Thanks.

For LED consideration, check our Mars Hydro. They are doing 5W Chinese LEDs for dirt cheap compared to others. Less than $600 for a 1600W LED (although LED lights don't pull the W that's printed on the can).

Orders all completed: Kosher Kush and Kali Mist will be the first order of business.

Damn getting excited about cracking some beans. It's been one year since the Trainwreck Monsoon of 2014 London. A year without a grow is a f'ing long time.

Timed it so the last of the bud is consumed today at the annual legalization protest in Hyde Park. By the time I get home in early May, that first vape is gonna kick my ass like I was still in grammar school. Better start with a Sativa.

Finally getting excited about coming home.
If your starting some Kali Mist ya wont be disaponted. one of my all time favorite smokes! Clear high clear eyes ya just cant go wrong...
I think ill have to get some serious beans to play around with!!

Unfortunately the entire garage runs off of a single 20A Breaker. I have a 600W HPS, 70pint Dehumidifier and 12kbtu AC. plus air and water pumps. I can not currently run lights,DH and A/C at same time without popping the breaker. Was able to run all 3 together with the old 5000btu ac but it couldn't keep up and that was in winter.

The Flower room is in a walled off and insulated storage room in the garage approximately 12'x15' with 10' ceiling. My home built enclosure is 4'x3'.

I'm assuming 120v? Is there a way to aircool the light? then you could size down the a/c maybe and still run the dehuey and other equipment. a single inline fan could do the job no problem... I run my open hooded, but I got mines always set up on 240 bigger breakers or sub panels...

Already using air cooled hood. Passive intake to room then fan pulls through carbon scrubber then pushes through light and exhaust to outside. If I go sealed I will have to vent that back into the room I'm guessing.

Yea no 240 lines to the garage for me. Power there currently was only meant to run a few lights and maybe some power tools. Is also a detached garage so running new power there is problematic to say the least. Would have to trench and bury conduit. Not a fun job. Will probably end up running a heavy duty extension cord from another circuit to the garage to run the DH.

I hate regulators with a passion, never work right for me, then again i'm a barely functioning vegetable.. I would go controller all the way

Unless I'm missing something; you need a controller AND a regulator. No? My (Hydro Innovations) controller activates on/off my regulator.

Not a fun job at all but WELL worth it. 13 zips off two plants under a 600watter tells me you CAN grow. I think you'd KILL IT with a sealed/co2'd room.

Yo Asslover...

Yo Asslover...

Asslover, thanks bro. I definitely will take you up on the offer. Much appreciated...Wow.

Gonna be putting in a mini-split as part of the plan.

BTW - Advise needed: Assume I am gonna buy a tent, one tent only for flower.

Is the Gorilla Test with the IR Blocker in the top and supporting 300 pounds of weight worth the extra money? About 400+ for a 4 x 4. Seems pricey but hey, I will be hanging filters, fans, heavy LED and HPS from the ceiling. And they declare it to be the most heavy duty muddafucker on the market.

I hate wasting money...but if something is really good, I don't mind paying for it.

Whatcha think?

Ain't got nothing but ancient grow pics...but here is a pic from today (a couple of hours ago) at Hyde Park in London at the annual cannabis protest. Met some nice people as always.

Take care. Stay safe.

See ya round the pool,

komrade

No, no Asslover, you're absolutley correct, I ment those regulators with the built in timers...

Its been a while since I even messed with my co2 systems, usually have my helper check up on enviro in running bigger setups.. Currently doing a hit and run bumper crop with no gas in a 3 light setup...

OK I always hoist my lights pretty high up, but usually rock enough to cover the room uniformly so height from canopy isnt as important, no glass ever here, I'm strictly open hooded unless I plan on going DE.

Ok so you have your intake run into the main flower room, get conditioned and then exhausted? Seems like a waste of conditioned air along with power and in the future Co2.. Couldn't you hook up insulated duct to the intake feed it straight to your light then exhaust? you wouldnt need to do anything more than add the duct to make it a straight shot...

Plan on upgrading anytime in the future? might as well take a look around at getting some electrical work, especially with the size room you got... PLus the easiness on your mind that its safe, to code, and you can always upgrade no problem without having to call someone in mid bloom... Its always good to try and find hvac and electrical guys who are cool with this hobby... I have a few in my crew...

KK,

i found used warehouse rack systems on craigslist cheap as hell and the guy had prob. 100 or so w/no one buying them so i bought (2) 3'x4' systems that was 12' tall for $30. he gave the uprights away and sold it by how many shelves you want @ $5 / shelf...no more fear of corner pieces breaking and everything crashing down on the girls.

this was a few months ago and i still have the number and if he still has some im getting several more just because. if i get more ill gladly hook ya up, ill drop it somewhere or find a round about way to get it to you.

ya never know what you will find on CL.

peace
