if they were in the dark for at least 10 to 12 hours before the light came back on youre good, even if it came back on some aslong as it was dark for that long you'll be fine. some plants are more sensitive than others but I've turned my lights on mid flower once or twice and nothing hermed. just watch the lower branches, if they do throw balls thatll be where they show up first

Lol just a day ago while fucking around with my ballasts i left the work light on in the room in the middle of the light period, and forgot to shut it off, shit was on for 24 hours(end of the next light cycle) before I caught it and turned it off. No herms here and I'm sure you'll be fine

RR, most light issues are caused by a consistent light intrusion in the lights out period. Consider the outdoor grower if you will; go outside on a clear night with a full moon (when you can see your own shadow from the moonlight) and ask yourself if that amount of light screws up flowering.

Of course the answer is no, but years ago I did struggle with an outdoor spot where the plants just would not flower. Discovered one night when I got home at midnight that the neighbor's flood lights were on from 12AM to dawn and the plants were close enough that it was interfering with them. It was the only time I have ever had that issue and solved it by moving them closer to the fence so the light shone over them, but not on them (they were in the shadow of the fence if that makes any sense) and then they began to flower.

The Evidence

The Evidence

So I posted up all the frosty, greazy Triangle Trips shots I took, but here is something a little different. Smoked the green and purple pheno with my #1 tester and we agreed it was great smoke but both wondered what another 10-15 days would have done for her.

I suspect "nail your ass to the couch and drool in your lap for a bit" is what the additional flowering time would produce, but as it is this was not a functional buzz at 55 days for me, let alone 65-70. His tolerance is light years beyond mine but he wasn't going anywhere soon either.

I was curious so I hauled out my microscope and my point and shoot camera and here are the results. Ideally the microscope would have a built in camera but this is my ghetto adaptation so adjust your expectations and deal with it

With a traditional microscope you just can't get samples flat enough to not have depth of field issues (the blurry out of focus parts) and lighting is a bitch. Believe it or not it took over an hour to get these 5 mediocre shots and at that point I was over it.

Still it's an unusual and awesome way to look at flowers. I used to use it religiously to gauge ripeness until I got a few grows and notes under my belt.

Very nice Dawn Patrol and thank you!! Glad to hear that even having to take it a little bit early it still turned out good. Those extra days may have increased the day wrecker effect from the TK mom side. But it also seems that she finishes up a bit quicker outdoors which is not unusual.

 wont knock you out but its some heavy, tasty stuff huh?

Very tasty and #1 on my list to play with in the fall!

DP,

nice shots. it is starting to amber just a bit too.

peace

There were other samples that had more amber than that. The ghetto rig I use to take pics washes out a lot of the natural color and I have to set the camera to night mode so it's sensors don't freak out about the light source and the lens magnification effects.

A couple years ago I saw a Jewelers scope at an auction and thought it would be perfect for close up bud shots, but once the price went over $500 I couldn't justify the cost or the space to keep it to shoot bud porn a couple times a year.

Thank you for creating this beauty!! In the fall I actually intend to try the lower branches at 45 and 50 days and see what they are like and take the tops to 60, 65 and 70 days. I need to go back through some weather history and see when the best harvest window is for fall so the risk of budrot is minimized.

I was looking at Georgia's new law......no cultivation so one has to go out of state and transport the oil back in :chin: making the patient a trafficker? 20 ounces of oil.....that is a lot though.

Morning Hugh and company :tiphat:
