Evening guys, Pictures are looking good that you have all been posting. I figure i would throw up two of the G13 Labs Hypnotic at 32 days of flower. Out of the 5 pack of seeds, I got 1 germinated. I didnt cut any clones, so I think i am kind of mad I didnt now. If it turns out to be good, I can always order more seeds and cross my fingers. She in 2L hempy bucket. I check the ppm of my mixture, turns out i was running at 840ppm (thought i was higher) So i had 6ml of Bloom, Swell, sugaree and now we are up about 1140, So i hope they do ok with it. But for my 2nd run i am pretty happy with the results so far.

Also, turns out part of my BC Depot Girl Scout cookie hermied on me, it was only one branch, and think it was when i rotated it, the branch got stuck under LED and I think it was just light stressed. I removed it so we will see in few weeks when i harvest if i got them all.

Not me.....main reason I am on the boards is for advice so I can grow better buds :smoke out: Feel free to say what you think!

I am having the same problem, I thought it was pH, or cal/mag issue. Maybe I am letting it dry out to fast also, Only been watering twice a day, but maybe I should do more. All my plants that do it, seem to have be a cross that has White Widow in it. so far. But maybe i will water more and see if that helps. Also my branches are deep purple also, but jsut bumped up my ppm's as i thought i was running about 1140, turns it it was 850'ish.

Thanks fellas! Been busy w/ real work work today and haven't had a chance to get back.

First run w/ coir and have been treating them like I was when I did Pro-Mix......

I have been using per gal

2.5 to 3.5 ml Cal-Mag
1.0 to 2.0 Pro-Tekt
2.5 to 3.5 g Maxi-Bloom

Which gets me to around .9 to 1.1 EC @ pH of 5.8 to 6.0.

Hand watering once a day....hence why the coir looks light brown.

Have not been feeding until run-off as that worked for me with Pro-Mix.......Already got a pm suggesting I do feeding until getting 10% run-off.

Have been used to lower EC because of the Glue I have been running but see that is not what all ladies want.

:tiphat:
if u r using tap water drop the cal//mag some.
water/feed till runoff ,then just feed for a few days, u need runnoff some times so salts dont build up.

Looking good Unreg.

For my led lights, I started off with 2- agormax super ufo's. They are 225 watts, and hooked up to kill-a-watt meter, i think its either 150 or 175 it pulls from the wall. I have been happy with it, One reason i went this route over HPS, is i have an old house, no insulation and during the summer my house dont get under 80 degrees. So now that I am getting back into growing again, after 4 years off, i am hoping it would eliminate some of that issue.

Only downfall about them, is they are so bright, it kills my eye balls when looking in the tent. I walk away and see green for afew minutes. I hope to get some shades they make that suppose to help when working with LED's.

I do have 1 of the ufo's over my BD Depot GSC, so i am curious to see i what i get. So far, My first 10 plants i have harvest have been about 14 grams dry, except for that gsc and it was about 32 grams dry.

Everyone i gave a sample to, has loved the way it smoked and taste, So my goal is pushing them harder and trying to hit a gram a watt.

Lazy, thanks for sharing :tiphat:

I will add another LED maker to the list to choose from when it gets time...hard to keep up with technology as fast as it is moving in that field.

Whats up??????

Whats up??????

Been a busy new year for me, not much time for my favorite forum but I hope everybody is alright and growing some dank!!

I've timed everything out this year to finish in March (hey watching the NCAA tournament while trimming can't be that bad) so I've got my work cut out for me.

First up, Dutch Grown Laughing Tiger. I ended up with 2 males and 1 female so the boys shot their load and I sent them to compost. Too early to tell what the end result will be she looks promising and there will be seed. She had an interesting leaf variegation initially but it has since gone away

Next up, the star of our show: Grown Out's Triangle Trips. This one was a rough start, out of 10 beans only 5 popped and only three took root. Two looked awesome and love was in the air. Daddy did his thing so I can't wait to see what the babies are like next year.

These plants are huge (remember the leaf pics I posted a couple weeks ago??) with big thick stalks. As they vegged, I debated topping them or letting them go and I chose the latter, so I have one huge pregnant female and one smaller female that wasn't pollinated. I wish I had the time to freeze some of that male's pollen for future breeding projects but life dictated a big NO to that idea.

Last to be chopped in late March, one of the crosses I made 2 years ago. Sensi Durban Poison crossed with Sonic Seeds Pine Queen Haze. Loved this one from the start so I hope this year bears more of the same. I popped 5 beans and got 4 girls, just flipped them to flower this weekend so not much to show but they are 3+ feet tall and I pruned all interior growth in the bottom 2 feet of the plant so I'll be interested to see how that affects yield. More pics of these girls as they get further into flower next month.

Sure does pass them logs..... all 6 or 7 of my seedlings have them and the monster fans already and they are just little tikes. Some are short and some are a little taller.

Nice pics DP!

Looking killer DawnPatrol!! That male is definitely worth breeding with, very very nice. Sorry to hear about the issues with the seeds germinating, I am pretty sure I know what happened there. Definitely not on your end. Let me know if you want more I got ya covered. That goes for anyone else who has the TT as well.

Thanks guys!!

Thanks guys!!

Lookin lovely Dawn Patrol!!!!

Thanks buddy, can't rep you again til I spread some more love around.

looking great bro, that tt male is a ruggedly handsome bastard too

He was a stud fo sho! I really wanted to store some pollen but I just couldn't pull it off. Really cool looking balls on him too!!

DP,

the DMT sure passed along the thick stalks.

looking good.

hey cheeb, one of my thoughts for next year was to top a girl and trim and train her into a giant outdoor sea of green. With stems and branches that thick I think this strain could actually support that kind of structure.

Sure does pass them logs..... all 6 or 7 of my seedlings have them and the monster fans already and they are just little tikes. Some are short and some are a little taller.

Nice pics DP!

Thanks Catafish, I wish my parents looked as good as that male and female. Definitely King and Queen of the Prom kinda shit.

Thanks GO, unless that male was sterile I can't imagine that I won't have a ton of seed. But if that is the case I will definitely let you know as I want to play with this strain again.

Outdoor breeding is never easy - you have to have a solid plan, execute the timing and fully understand what you want to accomplish and prioritize strain purity.

I have a decent amount of land to spread the plants out, but all it takes is a couple days of the prevailing winds suddenly changing directions or a few busy bees and it's very easy to cross contaminate a breeding project.

Typically I try to time it so that when a male busts open, other flowering strains are in their last two weeks of flower so there is not much chance of pollination and anything else that is not a target is still in veg. Differing maturation rates, life demands and nature can wreck the best plans though.

For example, the only other plants in flower when the TT male let lose were a couple volunteers that looked interesting and the Laughing Tiger.

The Laughing Tiger is a Dutch "pure sativa" so if she gets a little TT in her I doubt I'd complain as I doubt that strain is A) pure sativa or B) a keeper.

The 4 DPXPQH girls are in the first 10 days of flower so I doubt that they are mature enough to get knocked up yet, but even if they do that's another cross I wouldn't mind playing with.

I'm absolutely fired up by what I've seen so far, and knowing what all you guys think of this strain I can't wait for the finished product!!

bug, it would take me 6 hrs to come up with a smoke report like that  (especially after puffing on some of that)
