About to close the doors on week 6 of flower... Couple of weeks of feeds then two weeks flushing and I'm back deep in the green myself... And I gotta say... It's about damn time... I've got huge shoes to fill... And lots of love to send out...

We'll looks like Florida growers get screwed again.

First state appeals court overturned the decision on Joe Redner's home grow case.

Then I went to my local hydro store yesterday to pick up some stuff, only to find out they were closing shop due to new legislation. As of June 1 they can no longer sell any fertilizers, basically putting them out of business.

I have to go completely mail order now.

Fuck our elected officials

Fuck the supposed so called regulation ..seems like every state that has done so has problems.

Damn that's news to me. What new law is shutting them down? Or is it they weren't registered as a fertilizer dealer with the state? I've been looking at those regs lately and it can get costly if the fert manufacturer doesn't have their product registered with the state because then you have to pay to get each product tested and registered. I had trouble acquiring kelp meal years back because of this law. Apparently the state made them pull whatever brand kelp because it wasn't registered with the state. A loophole is selling as a soil amendment or conditioner to avoid it being considered a fertilizer but it can't list npk or you'll have to get the test to prove its minimum values on the bag. Rootgrowbloom is still open in Orlando but they seem to be struggling. That place was urban sunshine and had 4 stores now only 1 and it barely stays open. The internet and all the growers moving west have killed the hydroshops.

Not sure, it's possible that's why. Apparently it's not a new law but hasn't been enforced till now. Apparently they were told effective June 1 it would be enforced in pinellas and hillsborough areas All I know is my cost to grow just went up having to go all mail order. Not to mention having to be more on top of ordering. Was nice to be able to run to the store anytime I needed something. Also tough to pay cash online, which really sucks.

On a brighter note. Harvested the first run of GDP. This was from the clones I used to sex the moms. The clones went directly to 12/12 as soon as they were cut. Ended up with 4 zips from 7 plants.Close to 3/4 oz per plant. The next batch is already running. They had a full 2 weeks veg once roots popped out of rockwool (about 3 weeks from cut total), and are already easily double the size.

Nice looking GDP and setup, looks lots like they are going to reach their potential.

I used to badmouth GDP because it has bigbud in it, but last year grew one out for the first time and wished I’d kept a cutting or two. Maybe because it’s more indica than I’m used to, but it was worthwhile.

For online buying a prepaid debit card is better than nothing. Cost 6$, but if you put 500$ on the card it is only like a slightly higher than 1% fee to use it.

Thanks. So far I'm liking the smoke from all 4 phenos of the GDP. None of it turned purple as my room is way too warm. Average temperature in high 80s lights on and night time in the 70s. Really helps with sleep and pain. Definite grape taste in 2 of the phenos. It's a great contrast to my Amnesia X Triangle Trip which is heavy sativa dominant.

Here they are again at 46 days.
