JESUS it annoys me when people think they're smarter than everybody else. Screw this, just happily reading along then you get confronted by this "everybody is stupid except me" shit. Fuck! Bye.

Interesting.. You quoted perhaps one of the few civil arguments on this site only to accuse me of being smart and apathetic..

I see through motives, and this is a defensive statement... No need bro, I respect the person I was conversing with, why attack me?

Perhaps we have conflicting logic, doesnt matter, thats not appropriate, Ive shown no disrespect... Peace

Actually, its a good idea. Tell them you refuse to live in Texas and you moved to Co, tell them to have the charge transfered to Colorado. This IS your right! They can't tell you were to live but they CAN suspend Heb. Corps. only AFTER a conviction. Call them like 2 years later and tell them you live in Co. lol.. Limitations will eventually take hold. I believe Texas is about 4years or so since the date of the non-voilent arrest/felony.

Also, the local police will have to do a federal background check on you to see that you have a warrant in Texas. Stay out of jail and the local police won't know (unless you are on their hit-list).

Too many dumb fucking trolls without a spot of intelligence.. hehe.. Good luck, Noob!

ps, if "Dog and his crackhead" try to assault me without proper identification, he and his crackhead will get shot in self-defense.
Exactly you would have to be on the run in two different states until the charges were gone, and what about getting a real job, cause you can't sell your herb on the black market, jobs sometimes do backround checks. And seriously transfer the charges from one state to another, yeah maybe probation. If that was the case everybody and their brother would be commiting crimes in one state and then move to another where it's not illegal, your still responible for it where it happened, if that was the case, whenm i travel cross country i could just do whatever and then leave the state. Here's an example, if i get caught speeding in Pennslyvania, then move to montana where there is no speed limit i still have to pay in PA, duh!!!!!!!! Any more infinite wisdom?

Here read this:The terminatory or objective theory

If the injury or damage affects a citizen within the territory of a state, it would be usual for that state to claim jurisdiction to protect the interests of those who are present within its borders. But X would not have taken any action within State B's borders, so the wording of the actus reus must permit a prosecution in this situation. The theoretical justification for this jurisdiction may be that X has intended to cause the loss or injury and so should not escape liability through the device of only seeking to deceive those resident outside State A (a strategy that would be very simple given the internet). The justification is less clear when the place of injury is an accident. Within a single state, the doctrine of transferred intent would apply to criminalise accidental departures from a planned attack, but if X's letter is redirected out of State A by one of Y's helpful relatives, the receipt of the letter by Y on holiday in State B is entirely outside X's actual intention (just it might be irrelevant to a sender where the recipient of an e-mail is resident). Alternatively, suppose that X physically attacks Y in State A, intending to kill him. Both are nationals of State A. Y is seriously injured and, because the hospitals in State B have a superior track record for treating injuries of this type, Y arranges to be transferred to State B where he later dies. Again, there is no causal connection between X's initial criminal acts and the territory of State B, and seeking to found jurisdiction simply on the ground that Y died within its borders, is not wholly convincing given that Y is not a national of State B and so neither owes allegiance nor is owed any duty of protection as a part of State B's social contract.
How do ya's like me now, woot ,woot!!!!!!!!!

Why is this even in the medical forum and not either the CO or legal issues forum? This isn't a mmj issue.

I am not sure what all has been said but this is what I can tell you about laws.

If you break a law in arkansas(random state) and flee to new mexico(random state), odds are they will not come after you. However. If they do want to I have had a buddy picked up in UTAH for violating a drug law in TEXAS(for less than 100 dollars in contraband).

Also. FEDS are not bound by state lines.

Also if you are wanted in Georgia and you break a law in Wisconsin. Their is a chance that they will find that out and extradite you back to Georgia. I have a friend with this issue and the county he is wanted in said they don't want to bother extraditing him. So pretty much they felt in his case if he stayed out of wherever then he would be fine by them.

Also on TEXAS law.

If you break the law and they don't have you in custody they will typically issue a warrant. The 4 year thing I am not sure of because I thought it was 7 and then I heard they got rid of that all togethor. They also have this new crap (from about 6 years ago) that allows them to turn your fines, fees, etc... into an actual Debt and report it on your credit.

So in the easiest way to put it in my terms.

You live in a Totalitarian State. You cannot escape. Especially if they think you owe them money(which they do).

No I didn't. I said you THINK you're smart not ARE. BIG difference.

Your response is very definitely definitely passive aggresive. I find it interesting how some people read words then attach their own meaning to them.

Find a mirror and beat off to it. Understand that creep?

Thanks Skip, or whatever mod is responsible for that "ignore" button. The existence of that feature, to me, recognizing the fact that these self appointed trolls really need to be ignored.

They have a saying in Costa Rica about the ex-pats living there that translates roughly as:

"We have the people that are unwanted here, but wanted in the country they come from"

If you are just poking around with the idea you are better to move to a med state before you are busted, and once there follow the rules. Jail is a total bummer man.

First, sorry about the hijacking OP. Anyway, I go with the camp that fleeing wouldn't work out. Just when it started to be a past memory is when some cop stops you for speeding, sees the outstanding warrant, and hauls you in to butt-fuck city.

And Huligun, that translation doesn't make sense to me. Most ex-pats, from what I understood, are actually there largely supporting the Costa Rican economy, so I thought they were liked in Costa Rica. Maybe that's just propaganda from the gov't there. And few ex-pats, if any, have outstanding warrants in the US, I thought. I think there is an extradition treaty with them too. Or assumed there was. Maybe that is just one of those "hate any foreigner" type things? I thought that most those ex-pat dudes just about anywhere had just decided that enough was enough and decided to get the hell out of Dodge. I mean, like I know there is that fleeing justice thing, just not to Costa Rica so much.

We cannot continue discussing this, you are sincerely angry with me and obviously have no intentions of getting to know who I am, rather youve surmised the entirety of my character from a few posts where I challenged the logic of not just a member, but someone whos posts I enjoy reading.

Passive aggressive? This is a common perception with my type, we speak with reverence and the utmost intentions of using logic as our guide.. Some people find that intimidating, much like yourself..

I passionately disagreed with a post, yet Im not entitled to my opinion? Hitler operated much under the same guise... I am not receptive to the ideology of instilled fear..

Please quote exactly what I said to upset you so much..

Jbonez, you are wasting your time responding to me. I just scrolled by whatever you wrote and didn't read it. I have no desire to read anything you write. I wouldn't have even seen it at all but hadn't logged in before clicking here. I have absolutely no desire to argue with anyone over the internet with anyone especially some mental midget troll. This is the last response you'll get from me. Sorry again OP.

YOU ARE A MORON! I don`t even live in the states but I know for a fact that when a cop runs your name in the computer something as small as a TRAFFIC WARRANT in another state WILL show up! A FELONY WARRENT WILL 100% show up and they will arrest you and most likely ship you back to whatever state the warrent is out of to serve your time! STOP SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION! I know this to be true because I have seen it first hand. Fuck even on the show cops today I saw a chick get arrested because she had a misdomenor hit and run warrant from another state. Here in Canada it`s the same thing, they can tell if you have warrants outstanding from any other province.

It depends how they run your name bro alot of cops just check what they call locals it called different things in different states. Most traffc related tickets and stuff are not entered into NCIC so therefore when your name gets ran in a different state a traffic warrant is not going to pop up felony warrant is different. But even then say get pulled over for something minor the officer doesnt take the time to run you thru NCIC unless they suspect something simply because the computer can run slow and they are lazy.

I politely disagree. Because again, I have seen it first hand. First, it takes literally seconds for the computer to pop up someones information no matter what state it was in or how minor it is. As soon as they type in your info ALL your information comes up, any encounter with the police that you have had in the country is logged even if they simply talked to you on the street and sent you on your way, its ALL visable. I have a story for you. I went down to New York to visit a friend that had moved there from Florida. He had moved out there with another buddy also from Florida that I had never met before. My friend and I were driving around with his friend whom I had never met. His friend was driving the car and we got pulled over because he forgot to signale on a right turn (stupid, yes, BUT very minor offense) The cop took his license and very quickly came back with a ticket and informed he had a misdomenor trespassing warrent out of Florida. Since it was such a minor warrent the cops in New York didn't care as it was not worth taking him in for it but they told him he needs to call down to Florida and get it handled. The guy that was driving had no previous criminal charges or record and got pulled over for not signalling a turn and the cop found out about his minor warrent as soon as they typed his name in....SO, there is no way the OP could move to another state after fleeing on his grow charges and actually think he'd get away with it..... which was his question.

Taxes suck, Nikola Tesla rocked! In America we need less taxes and more tesla. That being said, every friend that I had go on the run ended up doing time eventually.. here is a tip.. Never break a law you cannot bribe your way out of the charges.. thats the golden rule in America.

i got 4 driving citations in texas and left that mfkin place...aint heard shit and i've been locked up in another state since...only reason i'm sayin this online is it's been 25 years ago....

Actually most states are hooked up to a system called STARRS(at least that was what it was called a few years back). It searches a central database for criminal warrants and traffic violations(It is how they keep track of points on your license from one state to another). Years ago this did not exist so if you pointed out your license in one state you could just go to a neighboring state for another go at it. Not so easy any more though. I think Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Alaska are not hooked up so that leaves you with few options.

As for fleeing to another state, well that won't work until Ecuador becomes a state.
