Flee to Colorado when arrested for growing in a non med state?

I have a friend who was just arrested in Colorado on a fugitive warrant.

The original charge was much less than what you're facing and they asked tha she/he be held for extradition. ;

If you plan on running your problems, prepair to change your identity.

Being in a state where your crime was legal would only make it less likely that you'd get caught doing the same thing again and arrested, but if your id ever gets run by an officer you're getting shipped off on that old warrant.

It really depends on if the charges are federal or not. If you were under your states federal count than it is up to the state to exterdite but most cases they cant because the charges are non-extradisional. If you were to get busted in say col. on charges they can send you back to said state to await charges if they are that much of dicks. This is all personal experience so before you start trolling me think twice.

Also depends on if your worth it to expedite. Personally have a 23yr old warrant in Cali that is non-expeditable. Does create some hassle when stopped for minor shit,"Do you know there is a warrant for you" "Yes, but you can't do nothing about it, so take off". It would cost the state of Cali more to expedite me then they would recoup. Not sayin I wasn't noided those first few years especially around tax time but now I ride clean and they can't do shit unless I get picked up in Cali, been there don't need to go again.

It's the one branch of government I cannot get over my fear of. They can do things no other branch can do. Lett them stryke feare in ye olde hartes!

And whatever you do... don't EVER answer a computer generated letter from them. Throw that junk-mail away.

Read up on the IRS folks... there are some seriously flawed practices going on that you need to be aware of, especially if you make more than 15-20K a year.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

No offense, but Id like to point out that you are actually "recommending" fear to people...

Fear propagates reality my dear... You will certainly experience the true face of your fears and the universe, this existence WILL oblige you...

Now for some facts.

You have a .4% chance of being audited if you make less than 200k, and if that happens, a 5% chance of a conviction if you are intellectually incompetent and cant work some form of deal..

If you claim over 200k per year, you have a 5% chance of being audited by the IRS.

They use algorithms to determine your credibility, eg: Excessive deductions, cash only business ect.. And will harass you if you are outside your parameters.

Now.

You should not be paying taxes in the first place, its not constitutional and if you will "break" the law to grow because it is an immoral law, then by the same logic you must not pay Federal taxes, as this is the highest form of injustice...

State taxes and federal taxes must not be confused here..

You pay taxes, you are arming the military, throwing money in the pockets of the most wealthy men in America and supporting those who willingly accept handouts at your expense... (For the class)

i'd like to add, that the IRS and the FED are not gloverment agencies. they have no eye out for you, they do not protect nor do they serve anyone but the wealthiest criminals on earth.

not only is fear propagated and disseminated by this ignorance, it is maintained and embellished by rumor and lies.

too big to fail?

at what?

Ignorance fuels peoples bliss bro..

When you filed your first tax return you entered into a lifelong contract with the government.. Should have kept your mouth shut, they cant do anything if youve never filed..

Research "tax abatement"

if you are busted with 6 plants in some crap hole like Texas or whatnot and then hit the road to Colorado to start your new life?

Yeah, I'm sure that's what most folks do. Just make sure you 'fake' your forwarding address card with the postal service to really throw off Law Enforcement... you know, just change the spelling of your first name (i.e., changing Michael to Mikedog would be enuf, fo sho)

Let us know how it works!

Fucking A-straight I am. I mean what I said with every ounce and fiber of my being. No one, and I mean no one is big or strong enough to deal with the IRS when they decide they're going after you. Period. People should be afraid, very afraid, especially when we're talking about an agency that has the kind of power over individuals as the IRS does. It's more than a matter of perspective, in my opinion, it is a matter of legal fact.

Ugh... spitting, really?

I'm not going to mention any specifics, only that what I say is what I know factually and is based on experience with the IRS. So, if I'm one of that 5% or .4%, does it really matter? There are enough people who are willing to commit suicide, fly planes into buildings or have armed stand-offs to demonstrate the truthfulness of what I say.

Sure, *most* of the people here aren't going to have any such experience, but by the same token most of the people here were likely born after we were required to get a Social Security number by the age of 2. What does that mean in the context I'm referring to? Perhaps you don't live, or don't want to live, by certain parameters, but not everyone is the same.

And, sometimes things just happen, whether you actually had anything personally to do with it or not, just ask the Weaver kids. I'm saying pay the tax man, or the king shall send his men, and they will have their swords drawn when they arrive. My fear is well-earned.

lol, the spitting wasnt directed at you, rather the frustration of the mentality I believe you are promoting, which is inherently why 1% of the populous who does not fear, wins... I dont blame you individually, but to openly promote fear is no different than the men you are fearing yourself..

This existence is in YOUR control, but fear manifests some nasty realities, I and a select few people in this world understand this, we dont live by fear, rather by a logical understanding that we are in control, and its this philosophy by which I evade every form of fear.. Doesnt mean we arent cognizant of reality... Rather, tomorrow will unfold no matter what, how is determined by your thoughts, think quantum entanglement..

Im a thinker on a level I wouldnt wish for most people, but my insights are not without merit..

Please take that into consideration and not as "personal" attack... Someone changed my life with this insight, Im just passing along what works..

The IRS is the private collection agencyused by the Feds.

The IRS is the private collection agencyused by the Feds.

The IRS is actually a private collection agency hired by and working for the U.S. Dept of the Treasury as a revenue collection subcontractor. They are exactly what they say they are A REVENUE COLLECTION SERVICE, not much different than the ones working for Banks that need to collect outstanding credit card debt. It is no different than Blackwater which is a private contract para-military police force.

If they bother you send they a letter of cease and desist. Then they can't bother you with out taking you to court. For me this will work. I own no assets in my name. If they take me to court and win, they get nothing but a piece of paper from a judge. They couldnt even send me to jail because I wouldnt go.

Addressing fear propaganda. Jbones is right. The American government has a fear propaganda campaign better than Hitlers. If American citizens knew what they could get away with the government would have zero power.

Direct experience vs constructing an argument to support your point...? Hmmm.... I'm not getting how anyone could believe they can debate away personal experience. For me, there is no debate here. :) Certainly, you're not the first person to challenge my assertions on this, but all I can, and will tell you is what I've told them, which is you don't actually know until something similar happens to you. Being close enough to someone who owes enough money is all it takes, and that actually requires less than you'd think.

Youre (e added for grammar nazis) under the impression I need to hear what happened to you to, upholding your fear of the IRS. And you are going to use that bias as the logical architecture for your argument..

I challenge you to perceive what happened prior to you dealing with the IRS.. I assume, that most Americans, much like myself, have heard about the IRS long before you were paying taxes.. The fear of the IRS came long before your exposure, not your shifty tax practices, lol, everyone cheats their taxes, and rightfully so..

I know Ill never forget the look on my mothers face when the IRS came a knockin, she was BIG into real estate, problem is, she wasnt playing fairly, but she never let me forget before her troubles how scary the big IRS boogey man is, ultimately leading to her troubles with the IRS.. Problem is, from a logical perspective, her fear was based on nothing, it didnt happen yet.. She was afraid for no reason, but the power of her fear, her thoughts, brought about the tax man, much like in your case..

Noticing the trend here?

If you wont debate me, even behind closed doors thats fine, but I find you to be presumptuous..

Your need for logical structure is indeed revealing, are you convincing me or you? At my level of comprehension my friend, I stand nearly alone, yet daily I am truly surprised at what I dont know.. You seem to have it all figured out, no?

In 31years, Ive not paid into the system you so fear and have yet to get so much as a phone call... luck of the draw? luck is no more real than "coincidence".
