Ok so Like Im 18 I have always loved music. I knew nothing of the doors (before my time) I go with my now wife to see Oliver Stone's the "The Doors" I walk out of the movie stunned and moved I was obsessed. It spoke to me the issues with his family dont let anyone close if you let anyone in pain of loss pain of growing old. Just like the depression but the partying idk I was a kid dnt judge....

Anyway. I called my friends to try to get some sort of acid. I hook up wth one buddy and he opens his safe and he has a little zip lock with a 100 sheets 100x hits each sheet $5 bucks a peice. Oh its on now. So I start living on it taking a hit and going to pick my chick up from work. Whatever when ever trippin everyday.

The dubest thing I ever did... One night I take her out for food ad put one hit under a pepper on one of her nacho's and tripped the night with her that was crazy. (that was the one of the most stupid things I ever did)

Anyway after months of trippin my buddy goes bro your not taking these like all time right? Your supposed to like wait a week ad shit you know that right? Im oh ya bro these are fr my friends and shit. IDK if he put it in the back of my mind at that point but man.

Its a Friday night. I take 4 hits,a one a day vitamin pack like you buy a convenience store there like 4 different pills in the little packet,4 darvacett, and wash it all down with a bottle of orange juice. And head to the beach. I get there ad smoke a joint and it hits me. I was fucked. I thought I was going to die I could barley hear and I could barley think I still dnt know how I lived. Something changed that night.

From that point on things triggered panic attacks/flash backs I mean bad ones. I would smoke and be trippin and not good at all fucked up and freeking out I would go the ER. Drinkin beer,smokin weed,drinking orange juice,asprin,ibuprofen what ever took nothing. It would fuck me up. I was in bad in shape.

For the next 20 years a fucking mess. Ive been to ever doctor imaginable. Checking for diabetes,disorders,heart disease,brain scans,nerve testes,auto immune disease whatever the could think of. They have wanted to put me on everything from xanex to valume to paxil.(sorry about the spelling)
refused to live on that shit.

Guess what I figured out it was food. I messed up my intestines with all the chemicals I guess. As soon as I stopped eating gluten and rice I haven't had anymore anxiety or health problems. couldnt beleive everyone in my life thought I was clinical.

I can smoke a little now and thank good cause It was lonely on the other side. Trust me

From the late 70's to 1980, I had this clock ticking in the back of my head. Anxiety and depression. I took a gram of Liberty cap mushrooms and it all went away. I only even think negatively about the overdose trips I took in the 70's when I am around a fluorescent light that is flickering or strobing.

Liberty Caps, the last trip, cured me of all the bad residuals from LSD.

Orange sunshine was not 5000ug, more like 300ug. At about 1000ug-2000ug your 5-HT agonism is maxed out. Anything over 1000ug tends to just be a waste. (the thumbprint myth sounds like horse quack to me).

I've often had persisting visuals sometimes for weeks after heavy psychedelic use, but it goes away after a good break.

Flashbacks are relatively rare and I've never had an experience that I would call a flashback. Depends on your definition of flashback I guess. Do I sometimes see funny stuff, yes. Do I sometimes feel separated from my ego, yes. Has a full psychedelic state reinstated itself without a drug present and persisted for many hours, no.

I've had my fair share, still do (but not as frequently and with less heroic doses). I don't imagine there will be a stage in my life that I will turn down a psychedelic experience. It's a very useful tool and my most adored altered state.

I think you are thinking of ADL-52 which was used as a courtroom defense for Orange Sunshine, but doesn't make a lot of sense because you synthesize if from LSD hence losing yield. So I'd say it's safe to assume Orange Sunshine was just LSD.

I took purple microdot back in the seventies and have not had any flashbacks.I did however lose 24hrs of my memory while tripping.

That was the strongest LSD I've ever taken,two or three day high,I can't remember correctly.

these guys where connoisseurs, and loss of yield is not much concern when you are making a million hits at time.

I used to get viles of ald 52, out of Eugene OR, and it is a stunningly, amazing and beautiful experience, and it is what Owsley put out as Orange Sunshine. Ald 52 has no speediness and that transforms the experience quite a bit. It makes it warmer, more loving, and enables you focus on tasks in magical ways.
