Good evening
2 weeks have passed since last visit

Not a great deal to report really
Most of the plants are looking really good

Some have started to show signs of flowering already

Some are already 2-3ft tall
I pulled about another 4 various males
Some of the plants are showing signs of deficiencies and insect damage but I’m not worried about that,I’m sure they will sort themselves out eventually

All in all I’m over the moon with progress so far

But I’ve learned in guerrilla growing that you should never count your chickens
Literally anything could happen between now and harvest time
Anyway thanks for looking in and good luck with your grows

Happy Summer Time
2 weeks since my last visit
When I first arrived at the plot I was blown away by how much the Himalayan Balsam had taken over
Before…….

After……

I cut back a lot of the Balsam and nettles around the boundary giving more space
Pulled up a good few males that had started to show including a couple of small hermies

Some plants were a good 4ft tall already and some have started to show lady parts
Over all I couldn’t be happier with the progress so far

A few weeks and hopefully there will be some buds on show

It was a particularly wet spring followed by warm damp weather and the surrounding cover has gone crazy!
This particular plot is on flood land so it has a high water table and lots of mosquitoes
A few years ago this area would have been covered in willow herb and nettles
But Himalayan Balsam is super invasive and has taken over!
I don’t mind it myself, it looks nice and smells good too

It’s that time again
Purposely chose to visit during a rain storm
Less people about And less Mosquitoes
Approaching the plot I got a lovely wiff of freshly growing herb

The surrounding cover had gone nuts again! Even the willow trees needed a prune

Pulled another half a dozen males and a few runts which leaves me with aprox 30 plants out of the 60+ I originally planted

I’ve managed to sex most of the plants with some flowering already but there’s still a few tall ones I’m a bit suspicious of
I think I will do weekly visits for the next few weeks just to make sure no late males try to ruin the party

Sorry there’s not more pics but as mentioned it was raining and rather dull

I’ve noticed plenty of notifications recently so I’d like to say Hi to any new followers

Good evening all
10 days since last visit

Found a couple of males but they hadn’t started throwing pollen yet…

It’s been very wet these last 10 days but the plants don’t seem to mind
Almost all plants have been sexed now except a few of the Polar Dane which are late flowering.
The “Grapefruit Early” are all in full flower mode and smell delicious

There’s one plant amongst the “Esben 23” that really stands out.
It’s about 4ft tall with a lovely thick stem and bushy structure….

“Lockdown Loco Hazey” are also looking good

The plot looked different when I left because I got a bit freaky and tied some of the big girls down
This will give them a little more space and also help with airflow

I may add more images but for now I’ve reached the limit for this post

I agree
It’s just a shame as a GG grower I don’t get to spend much time with them
Most of the time it’s straight in and out in a mad rush to avoid being spotted
Every time I leave it feels like I’m leaving my children alone to fend for themselves
That’s one reason I like to take plenty of photos so I can sit down at home and reminisce

10 days since last visit
Found 2 last males
That means I can relax a little now and visit less often

I did the usual tasks of cutting back surrounding cover
Tied down a few girls

It’s been a mad year for the Female to Male ratios!
I have way more females than usual which is obviously a good thing
Just means I’ve had to tie a few down to allow more light and air in
I must remember to switch off “Live focus” next visit because the photos aren’t great

Furthest into flower are the “Grapefruit Early”
I expect they will be ready in 3-4 weeks time

Harvested my 1st plants of the season today
“Grapefruit Early” Probably should have chopped them a week sooner as they had started throwing out a few late nanas
But as it’s for my personal use I don’t care much about that
Anyway here’s a few pics from todays visit

Walked away from the plot with a carrier bag full of fresh flowers and another 15 plants remaining.
Lockown Loco ((Hazey) should be done by end of August beginning of Sep.
The rest will be late Sep early Oct depending on the weather
