here again: i jerked two of the lowest branches of GhazeVB pheno I to fast dry them for tonight ...... dont like that, but i hate it more to buy weed .Its day 55 for them and Pheno1 +2 are about 40 - 50 % wilted stigma´s and trichs are starting to turn cloudy some of them turning light brown.I think this is the influence of Venomberry to speed up the last buddage and ripening process (60 days should be enough for them so its a good 9 weeker and that´s comfortable for a haze cross, [max 12.5% haze influence])
Pheno3 is fattening up nicely being a little slower than the others and her smell is getting stronger and comparable with Pheno1 but more astringent like paint thinner or nitro dilution.All three Phenos lost their G-stench maybe it gets apparent after a good cure.
VcB:they are full into swelling their bracts and start pumping out resin like mad, her habitus get fatter everyday but she retains in her fluffy buddage with nice sized bracts that hold a good bunch with big headed trichs.The only thing which i like not the best on this strain is the ultra strong taste and the heavy and thick smoke.I feel it that the smoke of a bowl is harder to get in your lungs, its not due to harsher smoke or anything of that, its not the extreme expansion which is not the hardest.Followed from a more narcotic tending stone with a light head buzz this is definately evening ganja for ending the day with a full stomach and nice movie or a talk with some friends...
a did i mention the chatty quality of the strain

here´s an update for my males
One is a GhazeVenomberry male, its stocky, tight noded and have that nice G-stench in veg.Cant wait to flower him out and test his offspring, aja its F1 generation

The other is Venomberry99 , very berry , more than any Blueberry fem i ever encountered, puhhh , very vigorous and healthy lush growth under fluroscents.

Jeah i cant wait, i chopped yesterday GhazeVenomberry [have to find a fitting name for this], its the stocky pheno with those extremely coloured leafes, her stigmas are about 50-60% wilted, i know its a bit early but its late enough for getting a decent buzz for sure and dont have to spend a buck for bog weed from the sharks in the streets.
here are some wet nug pix for you to enjoy, i´m sure it will be a good smoke and enough for me when i reduce my daily use in 1g per day. mhm cant give any nug away to a friend,i´m sorry boyz hihihihi

Update for left side of the table: sry dont know how to say .... baked . fast dryed GhVb shitty taste is normal for such fast dryer´s but the buzz is nice ------

the stretch slows down and some of them stopped.VcB´s and GhazeVB PhenoI + II are here, 12 plant in total , sprayed them with celaflor to get all buggers from them and cleaned the table afterwards to make sure its clean enough for them .
mhm this is the first perpetual run without a single ssH , i miss them right now ...


Tbb+Roms: Culled 3-4 of them due to slow rooting and weak growth... my selection process begins within the first days of the beans life .... as i cant/dont want to use a weak plant (weak in any form) for a potential mom and afterward for making beans.
The rest looks good , have healthy green foliage and mainstem elongation stopped,
the third set of leafes is building now. #
maybe i have to buy some more packs of them .............

great thread fj, always nice to see someone with similar goals and passions..

great strains and great ideas, you're definately heading in the right direction.

That's funny what you've found with Blockhead. I've found them to be quite stable, with 2 notable female phenos.. One is a 'grapefruit' pheno, and one I call the 'hashy' pheno. Both phenos have some of the most resin I've seen yet, but the hashy pheno is incredible. All of my BHs (incuding my male) clones extremely well, out of 10+ strains BH is one of my fastest cloners, maybe the 2nd or 3rd fastest, and very predictable. I also don't find them that slow to grow, definately not that fastest plant in the world, but certainly not the slowest... I just harvest my 1st clone which I pollinated with my BH male. I got over 75 beautiful seeds from it, by pollinating only 2 small branches. I have 4 females, and I am in the process of pollinating each of them with my BH male..

I realy like BH, it's my favorite strain I've grown to date. I hope to do some work with it aswell, and have already made one cross with great potential.

Anyways, excellent work.. We have a mutual friend and I'm sure we'll be talking soon

normally a ssH f2 from me root in 5-7 days in rockwool on a heatmat, BH needed 20+ days...., def not in the fastest of my strains, i have nothing slower

Nice update fjall, I would have given her the chop as well, opposed to buying from the street sharks. Even for a quick dry, sure she still promotes quite a nice buzz for ya. I can't wait to see the progress of your projects, as you obviously have finely tuned your mom standards and operation for optimal utilization and quality. I look forward to future breeding updates.

Although you had a few rooting probs, I keep hearing so much good stuff about BH I might just have to give her a whirl in the ol garden sometime in the near future along with my kush and ssH of course

I haven't tried alot of strains yet fj, but the BH is my fave so far... that's not to say there aren't others I will love as much or more.

If I was at your stage I'd be the same way I'm sure...

my BH takes about 10 days to root for all phenos, maybe a couple days more or less. 5-7 days in rockwool is hella fast for any strain, my best was with a clone only BB at 6 days through rockwool. But I don't use a heat mat, and only give them side lighting, as I'm never in a rush.

I'll direct you to some pics when I get them up, jus so you know what I have for BH pheno-wise.

OG had about 4 or 5 reports for BH in the Strainguide, and the plants did always looks similar from all 4-5 growers.. I even remember posting that it looked more stable than almost anything else in the Strain guide that had a few grow reports that I had read about.

I figured it's at least a good strain to start with for breeding/seed making. I'll have access to some vb & tbb soon for breeding and want to get as much practice making seeds as possible.

perpetual means never ending ; in this case never ending crop means when i harvest one side of my table, i put plants in the harvested and now free slots [4 pots per sqm] (their 1st day and the other side is @ day 30-35 ) so budz should never go out.....
HD =HighDensity (more than 1 plant per sqm)
SoG =Sea of Green

here´s a little update on VcB and VB99c99P day 47 , i know my labeling of the various plants is a bit my own style so i will tell you once and this is now

Ex: VB99c99Pd47 = means Venomberry99 , then c99 , P = Phenotype ,means c99Phenotype, d=day and the # behind the d indicates the day.
P is only here when more phenotypes of one strain are present, d## only when plants in 12/12 .
