Here's a look at one of the colas from the topped plant in the drying room. The dark picture is the bud in my hand. Enough to get me through May while the rest of it cures.

Thanks

I actually do have a modular screen that attaches to a 1.5 liter Tupperware container with drain holes. You can see the screen in the drying room and I attach it to the risers from the Tupperware lid. Fits right in the flower room. My next run will probably be a scrog with one of the clones in the veg chamber. Got some Fox Farms Ocean Forest and worm castings as my soil mix. I also use Budswell (bat guano) and molasses later in the grow. I still think Northern Lights and AK 48 would be perfect for small, quick-finishing strains. That's what I read on the seed sites anyway...
any thoughts or suggestions?

I've never grown either of those but I know theyre both classics so you should be safe in terms of genetics. There's tons of scrog guides around here too with tips, but id say thats a good game plan... hope everything goes well

Here's my hiding place...behind the 3 plastic tubs. My intakes pass through the garage walls into my den behind a stereo cabinet. Allows me to have slightly cooler air intake in the summer, and slightly warmer in the winter. Here's my modular scrog that I copied from somebody in these forums. Drain pan can be filled with water if I have to leave town. I'll usually dry out in 4-5 days in the summer and will be a little wilted in 6-7 days. They revive quickly though.
The refrigerator hides the fan noise great! My diy carbon filter - not so great although I made a door for my cats into the garage and keep two litter boxes by my setup. That way when my kids say "what stinks in here!" I can say " the cat boxes, why don't you clean them?" And they'll say " we're outta here!". What a system! I still have to work on the ventilation.

Made the chop tonight...sent a pic of the roots. Nothing but water and molasses the final two weeks. I'll have some bud shots in a couple of days...meanwhile they're hanging out in the drying chamber

Thanks,

I'm actually doing a scrog in soil this time. The hempy was rather time-consuming and very labor-intensive as far as watering was concerned. With scrog I'll be able to water every 3-4 days and tuck branches under the screen. Thanks for looking in.
