Why is he a dickhead? I'm all for everything he did. Cops shouldn't trespass.

Because he tried to keep some cattle that didn't belong to him. Finders keepers is childish and dickheaded. This dickhead could have avoided the whole incident if he'd been reasonable enough to give the cattle back.
