I moved it to this spot by rolling, it's doablethat is a large rock and i would not try and lift it, (if i wanted to move it i would get a tool under it and roll it)
its also weird that nothing took the apple, even if not a hairy wood monkey, a deer or something else like that
My wife and I have moved many a larger rock in making perimeters for smaller flower gardens after the original spruce poles have rotted.apple was put out last night, untouched this morning
picture shows rock, apple, and tape measure extended to 3 feet for scale
the rock's prior impression is visible though leaves and stuff are doing their fall thing

physically possible, but this spot is about 20 feet from road, very visible from roadMy wife and I have moved many a larger rock in making perimeters for smaller flower gardens after the original spruce poles have rotted.
We guesstimate that to be a 50-80-lb. rock, depending on density and material.
I've used similar to stash dope on either side of the Canadian Border with both Alaska and near Sumas, Washington.
One near Snag, Yukon Territory, was 50 or more times that size (maybe 100 times, even). Obviously that one wasn't moved by me, but I'd bury dope next to it, often in pill bottles, then double-bagged.
Many years ago, after having left a tab of Dexedrine, some of my sieved hash, a small hash pipe and some weed there, I went back and my rock, huge as it was, was gone. Though the greatest suspected culprit was a human being with a piece of heavy equipment.
It had flat spots on top, but never looked as though anyone had leveled it.
Maybe teen kids in your back yard looking for buried treasures or a decent stash spot? Or a Big Foot that's distrusting of apples, having overheard those exaggerated stories of fruit with razor blades during Halloween and all.
