First Lady

For a quick wide leaf plant this is very sativa. I smoked a bigger hit and could not feel much until i moved around a bit, then caught a rush effect. If sitting still the effect is so clear that it seems to not exist, just that what you are looking at seems very interesting.:tiphat:

A bit of euphoria but mostly just a clear non racy effect with a lot of visual enhancement. I think any sativa lover would like it. I like that it is focused and not scatter brained but those can be fun in their own way I guess.

Not what I would call party weed but certainly not a bad choice for social stuff.

Had an initial smoke of some dried (although not yet cured) First Lady last night and this afternoon. Only moderate strength ... I was expecting more intensity based on the aromas when picked (as well as the vendors descriptions on the strain), although hopefully curing will bring out an increased intensity.

However, she is very enjoyable ... a smooth smoke with a warm and sensual effect, which makes you want to move (dancing and socialising last night, and gardening this afternoon). Unfortunately I didn't experience any trippiness or sensory distortion, but I did find her motivational, as well as clear and centred and focused ... e.g. I felt very comfortable mixing up fresh fuel, and using the brushcutter and hedge-trimmer in the garden after a smoke (if a strain has a heavier effect ... especially any trippiness or sensory distortion ... I won't go near fuel or machines as a safety precaution).

It will be interesting to see what the cure brings out of her, but at the moment it looks like the First Lady will be used during easy-going social occasions, and for getting maintenance jobs done around the property.

I smoked a kick azz Super silver haze in 2007 from southern california that i shit you not made me put my landing saw down and walk home (28 miles) all the walk the treeline and forest was cartoon colors instead of normal is the best description i could give.
I dont blame you for avoiding machinery whilest medicated! Were too good at this varietal nowadays to fuck around lol!

Update on the cured buds? :)

Just started three of these a but ago, two of the three started out as mutants. One with crinkle leaf that it looks to be growing out of, the other seemed to top itself, very interesting looking.

Looking forward to the grow. Plan is to cross it with a few males to see what shakes out:

X zapotec (norstar) - oaxaca gold x colombian gold.
X Syria (RSC) - for an outdoor hyper early strain
X white widow - for back crossing later.

Good luck with the project Breadwizard. We have four of these going right now and one has the crinkle and she never grew out of it. The other three look good but are definitely smaller growers than the rest of the plants started at the same time. Here is the best looking one and I'll try and get a picture of the crinkle.

Been toking a joint of the stash in the picture above, so a couple years old. I kept it frozen and it delivers like always. Nice easy going sativa effect for half hour then trails off into a mild effect which is clear and not tiring. No comedown which is real nice for this old timer.

If you hit enough like more than a couple tokes, 5 maybe? You could have a little trip going. Still somewhat spacey at 2 tokes or so. No paranoia at all, no crash, bit mild in potency I suppose but not weak. After that first half hour it is really not a buzz that even makes you take notice of being high.

Not sure on the potency being light or the clearness of the high making it seem less potent. Have to run another of these soon and see if the pheno varies much.

So the seedling I posted a photo of before ended up with 4 heads, and I took one for a clone. It ended up being the most vigorous in the long run, because I didn't have to top it. The one "non mutant" ended up with the same self topping mutation once it had been topped once, ended up with 4 heads. I must say, I don't mind this mutation at all. Antone else have this experience with this line?

Here's the most vigorous self topped individual, just put to flower under a collection of LEDs. 6 weeks from when the seed popped. Pretty waxy wideish leaves. The color and texture blends perfectly into the tomatoes outside.

Here's the same plant as posted before, at 4 weeks of flower. Stretch was around double. Smell is earthy and light citrus at the moment.

Checking in here, planted my other First Lady seeds: one was a mutant slowpoke (purged), one is regular with a few minor leaf shape mutations, the last one I got the crimpled leaf phenotype again. This one is still pretty vigerous, but it sure does look funky.

I grew a couple of these a few years back. One was a complete mutant at birth and self aborted shortly afterwards.

Breadwizard - the other one really reminded me of the one you just posted - what you are calling the crinkle leaf pheno:

It matured quite quickly and never outgrew its crinkly leaf characteristic. Didn't stretch much for a sativa. If I recall correctly, the leaves took on a bit of a blueish tone near harvest, and it had a woody, slightly minty smell when dried.

The final smoke left me, well, not overly excited. It was pretty smooth smoke, but very mild in effect.

The leaf structure on the non-crinkly girl looks very similar to my Her Majesty. I recently took down my seed mom Her Majesty at day 70. She was FULL of seeds and I'm sure stretch, high and flower time have been effected (deliberate pollination).
I noticed that the leaf structure and stretch (not much) looked different from what I was expecting from such sativa pedigree.
It is good to know I don't have an outlier.
I'm glad I found this thread and reviewed it!

Her Majesty day 20 flower.

I was finally able to order a couple of First Lady seeds.I need to get one sprouted pronto for this outdoor season.Keeping my fingers crossed!

How is this strain ? It doesn't look very stretchy for a pure sativa. For those with old Mexican experience how does this one stack up?

I'm too young to compare these to a good old Mexican, but I would certainly class this as kind bud, lightly visual. Here's the other pheno from the three seeds I popped this time. The third was a mutant runt, and was purged early.
