I'm thinking about buying a new camera that can take nice close up shots. I don't know much about cameras anyone out there have knowledge of the camera market and what would be good/cheap camera that could take nice close ups?
i know it hurts but you must let them go for a few more wheeks.....
by the by, what is the temp like in there? and, do you have some oscillating fans to
air out that jungle you got going there?
if i had to wager a guess (and this is purely imho), i would wager that improving your
atmosphere (e.g. adding fans, controlling temps and humidity, getting rid of stagnant air) would help you out.......
all grows are dependent on whichever factors limit the growth of the plants. Now the
thing to do for the human grower is to use your 5 senses to find out what is the
limiting factor......i think your lights and nutrients are good and probably your temps
are good as well (but check temps nonetheless)......if i had to guess i would say that
your limiting factor is the "atmosphere" or the "micro-climate" of your room......
of course this is all pure conjecture on my part but my purpose on this planet is to
help people improve and achieve their goals.....
guineapig you are defintily right, the one thing hurting my first grow is my atmosphere. during the dark period my closet door is closed and stale air is in there for 12 hrs. but during the light cycle i have the door open, a huge vortex blasting them along with a tower fan pumping in fresh air from a nearby window. temps have gotten up to the upper 80s at my worst moments but are usually at about 78-82 when the lights are on. some of the upper leaves suffered from the heat before i got the vortex fan, im renting an apartment so i can't really be cutting up the old fashion wood door frame they got going here. thanks for the input, any guesses on time? 3 more weeks seems about right to me from what I've read and compared my pics to, any thoughts?
thanks desideratum, yea kinda sucks. a lot of the top fan leaves are burnt up a bit but all in all I'm fairly happy for this being my first grow. im gonna back the light up a few inches but at this point i dont think those leave will be getting any better. would it make sense to cut off very yellowed leaves to allow the light to penetrate to lower foliage ?
depending on your humidity, you are going to get problems. I know that if I were to do that I'd get mold within days. We have got a humidity of 75% here which kinda sucks.
Even if you have a low humidity, without airflow, the amount of water that flowering plants give off in their final weeks is enough to create a really humid environment.
Mold loves dark humid stagnant air and some spongy bud to settle on is just sending out an invitation...
I feel your situation, I did exactly the same but I also learnt the hard way and I really hope you don't have to.
yea Blackmelo I am worried about mold. I have a fan running on high so the air isnt really sittin still just moving arond in cirlces, not sure how much of a difference that will make. Its hard, I can't open the door to get fresh air in there for light and I can't cut holes in the door. So yea, hopefully shit works out. Theres gotta be a way to get air in and out of the 1/2" crack at the doors bottom. Any ideas?
thanks blackmelo for the positive reinforcment, im pretty sure i'll pull it off. i cleaned up my growroom today, pulled out a few dead leaves, tucked a bunch of stuff, cut off a few of the really badly scorched leaves. heres a pic of how she's looking today. i know this is one of the more annoying questions but just from taking a look at my pics anyone willing to throw out a ballpark figure of how much i will yield? i was thinking prob about 4 ounces. any ideas?
Hi Mastercheefer , you need to flush those girls , as you have gone too heavy with feeding. Well done 1st grow. flush plain water no ph down through . wait for them to need watering again and feed 1/2 strength of what you were. You'll notice the difference i'm sure.peace
thanks for the advice pablo. I'm new to all this, from those pics how could you tell I'm over feeding them? Any ideas on how much longer I've got? Cuz I'm suppose to stop feeding them nutes near the end, right?
