first grow bagseed bad smoke, advice wanted

all i have grown is bagseed and have only had good results. i just make sure that the bud i get it from is really good. my lastgrow i grew what were suppose to be 3 lemon trainwrecks out. now im not sure if they were trainwreck or not, but they did produce some killer bud.

erm yeah ... but the point is ... you cant ever even know what it'll be like

it could be an accidental cross or self pollination ...

so you got hermies ... or later generations (more variablity) ... or not even an f1 ,,, because theres no backcross and your not even sure what fillial generation it was to start with ....

this sometimes is even a ploy to add weight and harvest before the seeds ripen ....ie .... burst the calyxes

and therefore bagseed isnt very handy when it come to reliability and good/killer bud
Great for pratice but not for results .... only a small percentage will be any good

I've grown nothing but bagseed and I've had mixed results. I think the key with bagseed is grow more smaller plants until you find one you like then reveg it, or take clones before flowering them.

My first sucessful grow was some crazy sativa bagseed that took forever to finish but the high was incredible. Up up and away, no comedown at all, beautiful strong lemon stench which could be smelled from several feet away in a sealed ziplock bag. You could smoke it all day long with no lingering lethargy. Everybody who smoked it asked me what it was, and were impressed. On top of that I only used cheap Shultz liquid plant food from Walmart. Unfortunately I lost that plant and had to start again from my bagseed collection. I grew out more sativa dominant stuff which again took forever to finish, 14+ weeks and this time it sucked. It smelled like hay, and was harsh and nasty. It got me high but it didn't come close to that other stuff I grew. Now I planted a couple more bagseeds and now I've got some really nice indica stuff that smells like a skunk and has a really nice euphoric high, lots of trichomes etc, real nice stuff.

While you're waiting for more seeds I suggest you pop a few more bagseeds into small containers and try your luck again, don't get discouraged. Not all bagseed sucks,believe me.

Hmm, this is definitely not what I wanted to read when I wake up on saturday morning a bit wrecked from the night before. I'm crossing my fingers that my bagseed doesn't go hermie, and now there's a possibility that even if she stays a she, that she won't even taste or smoke good? ahhhh man





I hope your plant didn't look anything like this one, or else I'll be really bummed in a month or so

yea bag seeds are a gamble... i think ive had about 4 or 5 bag plants, they were not great but did their job... but this bag plant i got now is looking wonderful, sometimes its worth taking the risk... cant wait to cut her down soon

dang looks like i got crap odds on bagseed twice in a row some kind of mutant dud pheno for sure, anyway one girl looks like yours froth still nice and dark green and the other looks like yours linksys all frosty lemon yellow, but smell nauseating and trichs refuse to change just like last grow, yeah oporator i tried all that lotsa plants yet seems only recent shit from that one bag will sprout the rest too old maybe, still got a bunch of seeds but they wont sprout i already tried this twice idunno fridge freezer perxoide what to do and no time to grow out anyway if ordering soon but maybe pop them just for fun see what happens idunno
