question of the day:

if im supposed to use this spray in 7-10 day intervals does this mean:
a. use 1 time every 7 days
b. use 7 days in a row, then 7 off, 7 on, 7 off

it means apply the recommended dosage every seven up until ten days. I think the effectiveness would wear off after ten, and it would be either useless or toxic to apply before seven.

keep the grow green brother, you have me thinking about DWC.

thanks skrappie - im really liking the dwc bucket so far, we will have to see the completed medicine though before i make any decision on which way i will go in the future. all i do know is that 1 of them is fairly easy to take care of, but 4 of them will prolly be a pain in the ass. she is drinking so much water at the moment that the 3 gallons of water i add only lasts 3 days.

day 20-ish of 12/12

few shots of the soil gal, the hydro plant is now too big to move by myself. she gotta a little leaf color problem on some of the lower fan leaves, thoughts? last watering ,as well as the next, i fed 6ml/gal canna pk 13/14, along with fox farms

looking nice - could be a touch of deficiency, possibly cal/mag - not close enough to tell definitively, but those bigger fans do start to die back during flowering and there are plenty of other leaves.
do you pH the water for the soil plant?

hey verdant,

yes i bring the ph to 6.2-6.5 range before watering, never have checked the runoff, a few days ago she got a little dry in between waterings, this was the first time that you could tell the plant needed water just by looking at it. she was revived in no time though after watering. this was the first time i noticed the yellowing leaves

here are my 2 late additions to the tent. feminized super lemon haze on the left and cheese on the right. both from greenhouse seeds. gonna give them a few days to get used to the new buckets and put them into flower on monday. if i let them get too big they will overgrow the space i have left for them in the flowering tent. im going to try to get them to just grow 1 giant cola each. i realize that will hurt they potential yield from them, but i just dont have the space and i want to get a variety of strains going. so it will have to do for now.

They are both looking great. It is a good thing that the hydro girl is too big to move, LOL!

The leaf yellowing looks like you may have pushed a little too hard on the fertilizer. What foxfarm product are you using for flowering? If it is tigerbloom there shouldn't be any need to add the pk 13-14.

I love the Tigerbloom. That stuff is amazing. I would just go with what they have on their feeding schedule>

Don't worry, we all burn a few leaves when we are first starting out. It is how we learn. I remember once when my father was in the hospital for 6 weeks and I had come home from europe to take care of the crop of 80 outdoor plants and he told me that they needed to be fertilized and gave me the amounts to mix and I thought I would impress him by really boosting them up and added almost double what he had told me to and burned the hell out of them all. Boy was he pissed!!! I caught it early though and had to run the watering system for 3 days to flush them all. All the watering really boosted them though and we ended up with a great finish, LOL!!

haha good story, wish i had one about growing 80 plants with my pops

ill stick to the feeding schedule, and give them a good flush tonight

Yea, well there are good points to that and some bad ones too. It was the late 70's when he started showing me how to grow and there was still that hippy feeling in the air and it didn't seem like such a big deal to be learning how to grow pot from your dad. But the world has changed and I haven't taught my son and he is amost 18, knows what I do and does smoke. I may teach him when he gets a bit older and gets his head out of his ass, LOL!
My half brother (same mom, different dad) grows and does pretty good with it. He is 10 years younger than me and came to me about 10 years ago and picked my brain on the hows and whys and took off with it.

It's a family affair, LOL!

greetings all, today i have a pic of the cheese and super lemon haze both from greenhouse seeds. they are at 20 days since they sprouted. i added them to the flowering tent today. i want to have them finish at 1.5-2 feet tall with one main cola, so hopefully now is the right time, i really have no idea so whatever happens is just gonna hafta do :joint:
