I got some 3" titanium mortars in MA in the North End. They all had quick wicks and we had to build a custom mortar tube to fire them. I see why they are so dangerous. They kind of shook the ground when they went off in the air. Very Very loud! The wicks weren't supposed to be lit by hand. They were supposed to be lit with a remote. Too bad I can't find the guy I got them from. I want more!
after the Boston marathon thing I'd be careful not to crack a loud fart in MA.
