who dat, hahahah... I mean, you didn't get weirded out when we said we were trying to kill cats?

EastBayGrower, for $13 you can get 3 tabs in separate containers from Planet Natural. They'll be partially hatched when you receive them. Release one on receipt, refrigerate the other two. Release one in a week, and the next one a week later. The last one won't have a great hatch rate, so if you're ok with spending a little more money, release two on the first day and just save one for the next week. Supposed to be 70-80% control.

I've recently upped my BT to twice a week on my early stuff, once a week on my later strains still. I've been waiting on my conserve sc spinosad to arrive than I'll rotate that with the BT.

I'm also releasing trichogramma pretiosum, and platneri once a week for the next 3-4 weeks starting today. Got 600,000 of each....they only need to save me a lb for it to be worth it.

I never got around to asking the place if BT or spinosad will kill the trichogramma- anyone know?

Edit- lady at beneficial insectary says it's ok to spray as long as eggs have hatched or as long as egg tags don't get saturated with spray before hatching.

Kats....

I built a greenhouse and mesh netting around that bitch to keep out the cats this year. Fuckers had their say last year. Took measures this year. I am thinking it helped.

I just grabbed some spinosad after watering. Got my trellis too! Tomorrow it's go time with the Makita. This Sorcerers needs it especially.

Also...it's their 6 month birthday today!

Sweet Jesus!!! Tess those ladies looks amazing man!!! Juicy harvest comming :) good luck bro!

:bis:

Earlier I cut some conduit and gave 5 plants extensions. I just secured them with 2 zip ties and one underneath to prevent any slipping. That might be all I need to do but that may change. There are a couple others I'm on the fence about but I dont have any more EMT so I might use old bamboo or something if I need to.

I'm going to figure out a way to drape it from the tops of the poles and give the extended ones another horizontal layer. I also got nylon string to run between the poles for lateral support. I made some of the cages a little too large and dont want any branches sinking. I'll take some pics later once I figure out whatever the hell I'm doing.

do they make emt couplers?

Doesnt matter here 'cause the tops of my EMT are loaded with zipties...but yes they do. Cant comment on integrity but the half inch ones I tried once for some other stupid reason were flimsy as hell.

I just wrangled two plants. Lol. This Double Stuff'd Sky Lotus took especially long to do. I want to take a moment and admire it. First off...its shade grown. Second...it flowered and reverted in a mater of 2 or 3 days because of excess Mn sulfate foliar while some others that I culled stalled. It's always been one of the most vigorous. Now despite its folly its one of the biggest ones. The colas and buds are huge and rock hard. It reeks of og fuelfunk and is already sticky and covered in resin. It defys all my grower logic and I love it. Here's what she looks like after tying her up...

looking great!
Sky Lotus in shade looks outstanding considering the shade!
It would be nice to have a list of strains that perform well in shaded areas/limited direct sun.

DOUBLE STUFFED~ wow! that one is out of control! Defying all growing logic, sounds like a keeper, did you get some clones off her?

Thanks, unfortunately I haven't done any cloning, I don't plan on staying the whole winter here and everyone I know that could hold onto them are too far away. I would have liked to save some of these snow lotus and appalachia crosses now that they're going extinct...but I know there will be more good plants down the road too.

8/20 plants exhibited minor Ca def (leaf curl) watered in Ca at 250 ppms without sea blast with positive results.

Spinosad kicks ass. I used it at 2/3 strength and saw white caterpillars writhing stiff sticking straight up the next day.
