Fiddynut's indoor jungle

Good morning Packerfan.

That's right I think you mentioned that you start your seeds in soil and I spaced that. That makes sense for probably many reasons. Like you said it has enough nutes to get the seedling off to a good start. I bet it's tricky to feed a seedling in hydro, the little ones can be sensitive. I'm guessing it's also good to save on space with smaller starting pots the way your doing it.

I think your right about a no transplant strategy being best for autos. I got away with an early transplant of the first run of autos that I ran indoor. I think what they really don't like is to be transplanted right as they are maturing around the 3 week from sprout mark. It must confuse them or something.

Are you ready for some football?! I'm not sure if I'm quite ready yet but were allmost there. I'm interested in how the pack is going to play this year. There have been a lot of bumpy rides the last few seasons. That's very responsible of you to raise your kids to be packer fans. It's pretty special for a little town of 100k people to have a team that plays in a league of big market big money teams. And to have a winning tradition makes it all the better.

I'll see if I can find the news storie about the beer smuggling and put up the link for you. It really is that good of a beer that people go to that kind of trouble to get it. The drink wisconsinably shirts and hats are great and I'm seeing a lot of them. I guess we drink a lot more than most states per person. Not sure if it's a good thing to be proud of or not. I like to have a couple drinks after work with some herb and to relax.

The fact that The Packers are a small town team, is a big part of the reason I am a die hard fan. The fact that the trophy is named for Lombardi.

I have only run autos once, my first try at seeds. I tried fastbuds west coast OG, no og at all more like blue dream, candy kush was small but good bud. I transplanted them but didn't let them get root bound.

The main reason I am going to transplant into coco, is because I have almost 5 liters of canna coco a and b

i think there is a certain satisfaction you get smoking weed you grew yourself
you have this connection to the plant and know everything that went into growing it
plus its the safest, sanest way to go
/ive long believed that if they would only let any adult in america to grow their own weed, it would kill half the black market and greatly limit kids access to weed
so do you have to schedule your disk golf or can you pretty much just walk on when you want
how late can you play into the year?
yesterday i felt the first hints of fall in the air
at one point in the afternoon a cool breeze blew by, but it had that fall chill to it
we will still have great weather until late october or early november anf even then it just means wearing long sleeve shirts
but summer is coming to a close, guys
/some coworkers kids are already back in school!

one of the plants i moved to my friends house isnt doing so well
it looks like the exposure to sun really shocked her
the other one is doing great!
/we even named her schmoopy
i dont think there is anything he could have done differently to help the one plant that isnt doing so well
but he seems to be getting a huge kick out of having the plants in his yard

welcome aboard,badfishy1
/i remember you from your fox farm thread
that sounds like an interesting strain, ghostship there
what is its lineage

hope everyone is in full weekend mode!
oh, and its always nice to see rufus make a guest appearance on the thread!
hope he is doing well
Good morning pop_rocks.

Damn pop your up early on a Saturday.
I'm really digging the grow your own smike your own thing. It's great on so many levels. Like you said having that connection to the plant and knowing exactly what went in to it. Showing love to the plant and caring for it makes it special too. I'm so glad I found icmag and started growing.

I think you are right about letting everyone grow leading to a lot of good things. People could share with each other and it would be a great thing. Also people could actually educate their children about the herb instead of all the misinformation kids get in school. I grew up with my parents and aunts and uncles smoking and felt really conflicted about the info in the anti drug programs in school during the hight of the bullshit drug war in the 80's.

Disc golf is a very unorganized type of game. The courses are usually at parks and there is no schedule to follow. Show up and play as many holes as you like. If you show up to a popular course at a busy time, like a Sunday afternoon for instance, you might have to wait for several groups in front of you but most frolfers asr cool and it's part of the fun. A lot of courses stay open year around so if your up to trudging through the snow you can play in winter. They make glow in the dark discs so you can play at night too.

I know exactly what you mean when you said you could feel that first taste of fall in the air. I felt that when I was up north a few weeks ago and it was unseasonably cool for a night. We had a taste of the here a couple weeks ago as well. Soon cool nights and warm days will be the norm here. Summer is coming to an end but fall is arguably the nicest season here. I was walking Rufus this morning and a neighbor stopped and said hello and mentioned her kids are going back to school this week too.

That's cool your buddy is enjoying having some plants. I hope the one who is struggling turns it around and gets healthy. It has to be hard to go from an exact indoor light schedule to a natural one. I think the younger the plants the better they deal with it. Good to hear that the one is kicking ass. Schmoopy is a great name for a plant.

I'm on watering duty for my friends plant and my bros plants after work today. I have to check the progress of the drying buds at my friends too. Looks like we have nice weather in store for us all weekend so it will be nice to play some disc and maybe even take the jetski out Sunday. You hav a great weekend too.

My one and only run w autos I started indoors and tried to transplant outdoors. Yes I acclimated them to full sun and they were doing well until I transplanted them into the ground. After transplant, they stunted for about a week then went into flower... left me a bit sour about autos to be honest. But I can fully understand those that use them for timing purposes, just not my personal preference
Good morning Badfishy.

Yep they hate transplant right before flower like that. I made that mistake because of bad timing on the outdoor that we just harvested and the yeild suffered for sure. They can be fun to watch grow they are so quick and hearty. Also great for people with small grows and outdoor way up north with a short season.

Good morning Packerfan.

Yes for sure being a 'small market' football team is special and unique. Winning helps. A lot of legendary players and coaches over the years including the last two quarterbacks being amongst the best to ever play the game. To think that we only won 2 Super Bowls over the last 20 years with such talent is frankly disappointing. But we are spoiled here and think we should win almost every year.

I still want to try coco and soil side by side for the beer cup challenge but I'm still a couple weeks from popping beans for that.

that sucks rode! rippers are the worse
plus your spot is likely compromised now and prob not safe at all
/they might even come back at some point looking for more haul
thats weird that they just took clones and not flowering plants
typical rippers are after bud and dont want the work of actually growing

hell yeah fiddy, i was up super early this morning
just like last week i woke up and instead of going back to sleep i started my day
i even went for a walk as the sun was coming up
im looking foreward to the fall too
yeah my buddy was really excited to show me how the plants were doing
i could tell he was enjoying having them there and he said his gardeners had this big grin on their faces too when they saw them
i told him he was doing a great job and there was nothing we could really do about the struggling one except wait and hope

thats so cool that the kids are getting into football,p'fan
its a fun way to bond with them and share some quality time, (unless of course they become patriot fans)
i usually watch games at home by myself or with the mrs, because i want to watch the games and not be distracted but small talk or other things
we will pop corn of make fun foods to enjoy, plus its a lot safer and cheaper than going out
i hope you guys spend lots of good times together this season and everyone enjoys the games!

the mrs is out of town for the weekend so im just jamming out to some audioslave and enjoying a cold drink
i think im going to make tacos for dinner tonight

I'm checking out that audio slave I've been into a RY COODER groove lately Into the purple valley and Boomers story I'm looking for Habana Social Club next Music to hang drywall by is what I seek.
Been craving some NRBQ lately I need to get the kids to download that for me next. They have some kind of deal where all the people make some music available on the net and they all share
they don't have an emoji for chiggers.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Good morning Rodehazrd.

I'm really sorry to hear that you had a break in. That's so uncool. It dosent sound like they knew about your grow or they'd have waited to get flowers off your Larrys. Did they steal anything else? Could be kids looking for something to do or thieves looking for power tools and stuff like that. I feel for you brother, it sucks to get violated.

I hope the Larrys are happy outside and they do well. That light scheduled change may freak them out but hopefully not too much. I don't think they will reveg with only 13.5 hours light.

Did they get your party cup challenge girls too?

Good morning pop_rocks.

Your right rippers are the worst. Scum bags. If it was just some bored kids looking for trouble they probably just took them to be dicks and won't grow them out. What a waste for no reason.

A sunrise walk sounds like fun. It's nice to get out early when it's quiet and there arnt many people around. I get up fairly early on the weekends too. Rufus and I have a nice walk every morning and sometim s even a round of disc golf before work.

My bros plants are doing great. He is as stoked as your buddy is that he has some beauty lady's in this yard. It's fun to see how excited he is to be growing some for himself.

I hope you had a nice quiet weekend. My bro and I shot 3 gams of disc golf yesterday at two separate courses. That kept us going from 11am to around 4 in the afternoon. I have a bunch of stuff to do around the house today. Maybe more relaxing next weekend.

Larrys are doing ok and they missed the whole flower room (locked) and sealed. the clones were lit up we had a new family a couple miles away with teens move in recently and they have atv's. They will talk so I ran away. Here they are in sort of sun. All the root balls stayed together so I don't expect any shock from moving just light change and switched day for night.

the girls look happy in their new homes, rode!
is that plant in the clear cup for the beer cup challenge?
do you suspect that it was the new neighbors that did it?
have you had a chance to meet these people yet?
might be worth stopping by just to say hello and introduce yourself

Damn Rodehazard, that sucks about the rippers. Wired that they took clones. Sounds like growers, who else would want clones. I would be taking a close look at people who are around you. I hope those larrys come through well.

Man we went out for Mexican food lastnight. Had some camarones De Diablo, freaking amazing. The Diablo was firey, had me sweating. If I don't sweat it's not hot enough. Love me some spice.

Today is transplant day, the stragglers are catching up.

Pop Rocks, I like audioslave, going to have to catch up on their new stuff. I saw a new PRIMUS video fuck yeah. Going to have to get some new music on the iPod. I am totally bummed Maynard doesn't allow his music on itunes.

Fiddynuts, what seeds are you popping? I had to laugh at my buddy, he's scared to grow from seed. He's pushing me to buy teens (ready to flower). My response why would I spend 15 bucks a piece for clones that are all but guaranteed to have mites of some sort, and probably powdery mildew. Lol not to mention you rarely get the strains you want. Some people are so stupid. Lol not going to spend a thousand dollars on lame crap contaminated clones. For that I could get dozens of packs of seeds for that.

Good morning Rodehazrd.

Sounds like bored kids up to no good. You made the right choice to get everything off your property in case you get more uninvited guests.

Your Larrys look great. I've heard plenty of stories about people having to repot mid flower for various reasons and if done carefully it dosent hurt them a bit. I think they are going to do well for you despite the setback.

That new family dosent sound very neighborly. What happened to manners and respecting your neighbors.

Congratulations on your new venture in Colorado. Going legit in a legal state sounds great. Sometimes things happen for a reason, maybe the breakin is a blessing in disguise. Only time will tell.

Good morning pop_rocks.

I had a lab a few years back that had bad arthritis in his front feet. It was hard to watch him slow down his walking and be in pain after exercise. He went from loving walks to just kind of going allong with them. Sometimes just a little play in the back yard is best.

I hear you on the busy mornings. I tend to do little projects before work, and a lot of my plant work and watering gets done in the morning. I have a lot more energy to do that kind of thing before work than after.

Yes even I'm amazed at how well my bros plants are doing. I give him a couple gallons of nutrient water a week and they just get water the rest of the time when the pots get light. They are like spears of buds about 4' tall. Not much side branching just long main colas. I have a couple pics from last weekend I'll put them up in an update Later today.

My bro has been helping me with and observing my plants for the last year or so. He has been enjoying the buds we've grown here a lot. Your right he will probably be able to take pride in the plants that he is supervising even more than my plants.

You are right sounds like kids with nothing better to do than fuck with Rodehazrd. No one should have to deal with that, especially not him. Hopefully some good will come out of it somehow.

Good morning Packerfan.

The Diablo sounds good. I use to eat a lot more hot stuff but now I have to limit myself. My mouth likes it but my butt hole does not (sorry about that).

I'm glad to hear that the stragglers are taking off and catching up. Maybe you will get an interisting pheno out of one or more of them. I hope the transplant went well.

I popped 5 of bodhi's chem91 jb X snow lotus on sat after work. They all came up within 48 hours I'm stoked. I'll be starting a new pic album and doing an update later today with more details. It's nice to have some baby's to care for.

That's funny about the clones. Do a lot of people grow that way? It's hardly a grow if you buy vegged plants and just flower them. That takes a lot of the fun out too. And getting who knows what for pests and strains. It's weird that people would want that.

Quick update

Quick update

Greetings friends.

On Saturday I planted 5 of bodhi's chem91 jb X snow lotus. I want to take two to flower on this run. I'll be taking cuts and hoping to find a good mother in this pack. I hope to find my skunky chemmy girl. All the seeds came up within 48 hours. Here are a couple pics.

Greetings jungle tribe.

Just want to show off the plants that are at my bros house. They are super happy outside. They are like 4' spears of buds without much side branching. This has been a super easy grow.

@badfishy. Here is the new limited release can of spotted cow. I shot a game of disc and drank a sixer on Sunday.
