What's up jungle mates, just wanted to pop in and say hey.

Happy Father's day to the dad's that frequent the jungle. I had nice quiet weekend here. Trying to plan some camping trips, but I might be to late. Can you belive this year is half way over. It's flying by. Summers here, of course it's cold and windy all weekend here. Wierd weather it was over 100 Thursday.

Happy Monday y'all.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and your weeks are off to a good start.

@Packerfan. Thanks, they got just water the last couple weeks. They should be dry in a couple days and then I can start to sample a bit and see what I've got here. They got really frosty toward the end so I'm guessing they will be plenty potent.
Happy Father's Day to you. I have no children that I know of but have had a few dogs. Summer is going by quickly for sure. Gotta take advantage while we can.

@pop_rocks. Thanks man. I'm not getting the skunky sour smell off these more of just a very funky hard to put into words scent. I'll have a better idea in a couple weeks when they cure a bit. It felt great to ride with the kid from work last week. He is in good shape so when he was out of breath and asking why I wasn't even breathing hard I knew I was getting somewhere with my fitness. I rode a couple loops back to back with my bro on Sunday morning and it went great untill his rear derailleur broke and we had to walk 2 miles back to the car. The ride was 1hour and 40 min and over 1k calories burned that felt great longest ride of the year.

Well jungle mates, we are celebrating, the police took down my ex sister in law. The boys should be home by the weekend. After 2 years they will finally be home.

that is great news p'fan!
im sure they have been through a lot and might need some extra love for a while my man
but kids are tough and bounce back quickly, plus it sounds like they will have plenty of good people around them
glad to hear you had a great fathers day!
yeah man, it felt like fall this past weekend, looked like it was going to rain at one point

oh man, that sounds like a fun ride you had there fiddy
we will do some loops more than once too
there is this one place we like to ride we call the duck pond, it a pond out in the middle of nowhere that has ducks /derrrhhhh
but the single track around it is super fun and gets better when you ride it fast
it has some techy parts but great flow, so we will ride around it a few times just for fun
/plus if you go around a few times, it adds a couple of miles to the ride
keep it up man! it sounds like you are really making changes for the better
that sucks that your brother broke his derailer out on the trail,Sh!t happens but it still sucks
what happened? did he grind down mid shift or just over tork it and snap the part?
sounds like he might needs to upgrade
/gives kooky smile and wink$$$ bike junky wink

keep kicking ass you guys!

Greetings friends.

@Packerfan. That's great news 'Pack. I hope the kids are ok and will readjust to their new life quickly. 2 years is a long time for them to be without their dad and other relatives but kids are tough and resilient.

@pop_rocks. I am really enjoying the rides and every lap I take I get to know the trail more and more and can push harder. This place has a lot of berms that allow you to get pretty aggressive if you want to.
The duck pond sounds cool, I love a nice flowing trail. I know what you mean when you say that the faster you go the better it is, a few ass puckering moments make the ride much more exciting.
I really don't know how my bro broke his derailleur, I asked him if he peddles hard when shifting gears and he said he wasn't. Might have been defective or something. If they wont warranty it he will probably upgrade to a tougher one. You are spot on with the wink, this hobby isn't cheap and it gets really pricy if you keep breaking stuff. I think my bike came with a better derailleur in the rear because it dosent have a front.
How are your seedlings doing? Did your buddy have better luck on his second try?

the plants are not going so good at my buddies house
after burning through almost 5 beans we decided that i will start the seeds here and bring over young plants
im kind of bummed
on one hand im very happy he is letting me use his yard and he is a very good friend
on the other hand i only hvae so many seeds and want to get the most out of them
/plus he wont take my advice saying he knows what he is doing
he has one seedling left out of the bunch and its super lanky and barely had its first set of leafs
im hoping to see some improvement this weeeknd but im going to start a few beans myself and go from there
i am also bringing over a few plants i dont have room for so we can grow them out in his yard
they are established and should do well
yeah sometimes stuff happens, but i would hope a good shop is willing to work with him and offer up some kind of deal
talk to the guys, especially the wrenches and see what they have in the back or can make you a deal on
but yeah mountain biking can get pretty spendy
but i found that spending a few dollars up front can often save you money in the long run, there is a saying "buy nice or buy twice"
not saying i cough up for the most expensive parts, but i usually go for at least XT/ XO quality
/what components came stock

Good afternoon pop_rocks.

I'm sorry to hear that the plants at your buddies aren't doing well. I just realized that I haven't talked to my friend about how the seeds we planted a week or so ago are going, I hope they came up and survived the thunderstorms we've had this week. I'll have to call her today and ask. That's a great idea to get the seeds started at your place and let them get a little tougher before handing them over to a newbie. I do wish he would take your advise and not act like he knows what he is doing though, that dosent seem to be working. Some people just have a hard time taking advise about anything, even from someone who knows what's up. Try not to get too frustrated with him, I'm sure he means well, and not everyone is a green thumb. Bring him some young plants that are healthy and can stand some abuse and see what he can do with those.
My bro hasn't had time to take his bike in yet but I'm sure they will work with him. If it did hit a rock or something and got damaged than that's ok. Like you said it's a great opportunity to upgrade. Back in the day XT and XTR was the best but now some people are saying that sram is the way to go. Not sure what brand and type derailleur he had. Mountain biking might be a little spendy but it's well worth it.

happening buddy?
hope your week is wrapping up nicely, do you have any plans for the weekend?
the mrs and kids are heading out of town friday morning and not coming home until tuesday
her friend recently moved out of state and she is driving out to visit her
yeah, i know my friend means well and will just roll with it and keep trying
i have a couple cuts ive rooted but dont have room for, so im going to get him started with those this weekend
i have both shimano and sram parts and think both make quality if you are buying their high end stuff
im with you man and agree that every cent spent on biking is money well spent
a friend who has super expensive bikes is always saying that even his most expensive bike costs way less than a hear t opperation
they are a lot more fun too!
kick ass my man and lets finish the week off string!

Hey Jungle mates,

The week is on the downhill slide. Pop Rocks that sucks your buddy is not listening, I know how that goes. I ran into a buddy who had a pm, and bug problem. He had some hairbrained plan to use ice water to kill the pm and mites. He tells me "man you were right that pm ain't no joke " lol You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

So my nephews are on the way to the house. My bro in law picked them up a couple hours ago. I dumped some outdoor I had, so I can get the boys setup with some clothes and stuff. Only downside, my bitch ass mother in law is here.

Greetings friends.

It's been a rainy cool week and I'm ready for summer and sunshine to return. With so much rain the bike trails are closed and I've been stuck riding the exercise bike indoors. The forcast is 50/50 for rain tomorrow and tomorrow night for the first of the dead and co shows. I know a lot of peeps that are going to be camping out for the shows and I hope the rain holds off for their sake. If it's wet at alpine valley the sod fights can get out of hand, but we will make the best of it.

@pop_rocks. It should be nice to have the house to yourself and plenty of peace and quiet this weekend. I know you mentioned that you will miss them but also enjoy the down time. Maybe get out for a nice bike ride or something like that. I will be spending Friday and Saturday with all the dead heads that come around which the band and the locals too. There is a Sunday after party as well that I might get to. Alpine valley is the second largest (I think) outdoor amphitheater in the country and has been the sight of many a great dead show over the years and I hope this weekend's shows stack up with some of the best. I'm also taking down the single GSC plant I still have flowering. Next week I'll do harvest reports and updates on which 4 plants will be next in flower. You are so right that money spent on high quality components is so well spent. I will have to read up on what shimano and sram have to offer these days. You are right that something that helps you stay in shape and is so much fun is a bargain at any price. I hope you have a great weekend brother...Fiddy.

@Packerfan. I hope your reunion with your nephews goes really well. Thats so cool of you to help get cloths and stuff for them. I'm sure that your bro in law really appreciates that. You are a stand up guy and I'm not suprised that you are willing to do anything you can to help make things easer for your peeps.

/shes fast but it will be fun to just let er' rip
that sounds like a fun venue to see a show, i hope the weather isnt that bad
i hope you have a great time no matter what and some of the nest tiems ive had camping were when the weather wasnt on our side but we just made do and enjoyed things
as long as you pack some extra layers and bring an extra clothes yo should be fine

/we can all live vicariously through you and enjoy the show!
are you bringing a bunch of smoke up wiht you?

Greetings friends.

It's just about time to head to alpine and start taking in the parking lot scene. It's raining but very lightly and if it dosent pick up it shouldn't be enough to cause any harm. We have a cooler full of our favorite beverages and some snacks and should be all set. Taking plenty of buds and prerolled some joints. No edibles this year as we overdid last time and were a bit too tired and out of it to enjoy the show.
I will try to get some pics and put them up in a couple days when I get back home.
Y'all have a great weekend...Fiddy.

Fiddynuts,

Hope you guys have an awesome weekend. Are you going to partake in any psychedelics? We used to go to some dead on the mountain shows back in the late 90s. We would score copious amounts of LED, shrooms, and dank bud.

leaving the edibles behind sounds like a good idea, plus smoking is more social

What's up jungle mates,

Had a great weekend. Hope everyone else did also.

Fiddynuts how was the show? Amazing I am sure.

I worked a half day Saturday, went to the movies with the family. Relaxed Sunday .

I was able to find some available campgrounds for July 20-22. I have to get creative, the wife isn't a big camper, no showers, no wife. Fortunately I found an awesome camp way up in the mountains, that had an rv site so my parents will bring their rv. I was able to find sights that back up to eachother. Their is a creek for fishing. Can't wait. Kids are super excited.

Hey Pop Rocks, I am sure we will have a great campout. My kiddos are good campers. I fully plan on playing in the water. Kids are doing great, drivingthe wife nuts being home from school. We are saw the new Incredibles movie. I liked the first deadpool movie. My youngest is a super hero freak.

I may have a line on some unreleased seeds I am super excited about. I don't want to jinks it. They are coming from the breeder to a third party and then to me.I will post when it comes to fruition.

I may have a line on some black triangle f2s a buddy on another site is in the processing. I am going to hit my buddy up for some dragon og bag seeds. Since it seems like all the elites come from bag seeds. Gotta keep feeding the addiction.

So what strains are you runing now?

How was the solo weekend?
