I don't mean to sound bigoted here, but when it comes to completely amoral criminal gangs with absolutely zero regard for human life, Chiese Triads are hard to beat. Chinese-made hobby-grade drones are the best in existence, and Chinese nationals are absolutely phenomenal computer engineers, but dang, when Chinese nationals go rogue, they leave trails of cadavers in their wake without a care in the world.
The largest issue that most of these stories aren’t touching on is that a good amount of this stuff is actually fent analogues which are entirely legal to produce in China until they ban it. It’s a constant game of cat and mouse over there. they ban one thing then they add a methyl group or something else and it becomes a new compound.
