you'll probably have success with both the clones and the reveg...i've taken clones off of plants that have been 40 some days into flowering with no issues at all...even had one strain root in 4 days in the ez cloner that was about 6-7 weeks into flower!
i dunno if you've revegged before but remember not to over water....they won't drink as much after u chop alot of the plant off...so don't water it like normal or your soil won't dry and you'll get root rot....good luck

No I never topped her. She is too columnar to take clones from side shoots, but after I flipped the lights some of the lower branches started to pick up growth and I took a few cuts from her a week and a half ago (yeah, in flower).
I'm also going to cut just the main cola and some of the larger side colas and reveg her. Taking clones and revegging together should increase my chances of successful gene preservation.
