I like that we can be a little off topic here with common interests. I never thought I would see this topic covered here but once again reading the organic soil forum at ICMag has changed my life.

They didn't want to market it as rape seed oil.......so they combined Canada and oil.........Canola.aka canola oil I think.

lucky for my sense of humor, that point never dawned on anyone at evergreen seed co. Wanna come over for some rape? It will be super fresh and not overdone.
How are those different from turnip greens? They've got the same broccoli style florets and yellow flowers..
Known as cime di rapa here in italy, steam the greens, cook em with a couple sardines, a hot pepper, and some garlic in olive oil and mix with orecchiette.
my last dog was 125 lbs and all muscle. he ate what he wanted . usually my food
