As far as I have heard, it is closed. i have a buddy in the bay area and he reported to me last week when he tried to swing through it was CLOSED. not sure about the property theft, but sounds par for the course.

both are still open, they are wisely rolling out the delivery service before they get shut down. they are still trying to beat the fed letter to the landlord I think. I'll bet we see them pop up in a new location overnight soon. someplace far from any schools.

If I would do weed delivery I would make it a combo herb/munchies service. I would make the offerings generic to save time, and charge a nice markup. Like this:

man thats all we have in my city as well, they fuckin busted all the collectives and all we have are delivery services. I loved being able to go in and smoke with others in the a.m. but that is now gone with the wind.

Cali had its med scene but now it is delivery. Most of us grow and sure as hell do not want people knowing our address, our name, our drivers license etc WHILE delivering weed to us LOL. That just seems like a big ass safety and security issue lol.

At least we still have patient to patient exchanges I guess.

This is "exactly" why I did NOT rely on dispo's to move my meds....actually I don't rely upon the state of Cali to dispense my extra med's...it ALL goes out of state for mo money!

I actually could care less what happens to the Cali dispo scene. I got ass raped twice from local dispo's completely ripped off on a consignment from a LA dispo and learned my lessen...FUCK EM! If that upset's you I'm sorry but in some way's I'm glad their going away..I have absolutlely NO problem dispensing of med's, in fact I have a waiting list for my med's.

Yeah I didn't go to the clubs to unload my meds though as I knew they would lowball me. I would get it IF I saw that reflected in the donation amounts but hell just until the last few months everything was 50 an eighth at the clubs so I know they weren't passing along the savings to the patients.

I also wouldn't do a consignment deal with those shits either, when has that ever worked with herb? Hey bro let me get that pound from you and I will pay you when it sells BUT sign this so we can have paperwork on it and that you acknowledge that IF the collective gets raided you are SOL.

I liked the collectives because it did make the city at least look more norml and get all the potheads together collectively to be able to hang out as I sure as hell wouldn't allow many of these patients in my home lol.

I always pondered the Idea of Private Clubs not open to the public for members only. Limited patience with the best quality Meds and Appointment only. That way you can control your customer base. Build up a group of like minded patience who only want the best of the best a connoisseur crowd.

This is why and where an advocacy group like the one I work with is good to have around. Our goal is to teach patients to grow for themselves. However, we know that many people can't do that, so we also have what we call the Patient-to-Patient Program, where any patients with excess meds can (indirectly) donate those meds to other patients. No money ever exchanges hands, which keeps everyone a lot safer as far as the law is concerned. It also allows those who are too ill or disabled to grow for themselves access to medicine for free. There are limits, and there are few choices, because obviously, it's not like walking into a dispensary. They get the extras.

I think it's sad. The San Jose Harborside is not even a place I would shop anymore. Gave it 3 tries and that's it. Maybe it's different in Oakland but the quality out of SJ is sub par. I really like the brothers who built this, I share degenerative disc disease with Steve and had hoped I would find a recommendation and product there to help with my chronic cervical spine pain but I didn't get anything better than 18-22% and the 22% ( Kosher Kush ) was a throat killer. Again it pains me to write this but that's how it is.

Now get some of those 29.9%+ platinum GSC and I'll be back and buy a pound. in 4 increments of course. If only I knew how to grow these afpak kush seeds. Perhaps another life

Honestly, the general public would not be tripping as hard if they seen normal people not a foo dressed stupid with 2braids and rocking funky hats and a brother who is so spaced out and blown they think this is how all the marijuana community looks and acts. Regardless of his lifestyle choices, he gave much grace and love to a boy who just robbed the man who took him under his wing.
Even if it was for opiate addiction, that boy put the whole dispencery scene at risk because now the voting people know that the medicine can be taken from the dispencery and sold on the streets.
He still showed him grace, gentleness, love, patience, and compassion. Who really cares about how he dresses or wears his hair or who he beds with. His heart is in the right spot and he has put himself out there with his head on the chopping block for the Feds to cut it off like a chicken. He does the work. Even his brother. They work hard for there patients. Its a non-profit organization so Im sure the catch a weekly paycheck like anyone else. The rest of the money is donated, used to pay shady taxes,
and used to build the business.

I wonder what the grower is gonna do now that he knows his contribution of a pound of Dream Queen was shanked by an opiate addict who is now an ex employee.
