1st new thread on the new site, 1st post with pics, bare with me if I cock it up.

So here we go:
Plant preparation:

OK so the plant is prepped.
This was before I got the new light, so it went under a TS1000 for a couple of days.

IMG-20220416-WA0006.jpg

But once I assembled the new package, that light got replaced.

I've got the light set to 50% power right now, which equals 150w. That will get turned up slowly.

Unpackaging in the next post

There wasn't anywhere near the assembly required that I expected. I've seen threads on the FCE, and the FC, by comparison is plug and play.

What's in the box?

Put the power onto the light rig.
IMG-20220416-WA0009.jpg

Slot them together

Find the holes
IMG-20220416-WA0004.jpg

Screw the screws in
IMG-20220416-WA0003.jpg

Connect the wires from the plug to the power, and the power to the light.
IMG-20220416-WA0010.jpg

Turn it on.

Very easy set up

Thanks Gizmo, the light colour is far more SP ish than TS. I was going to put it in the 2*4 with an SP150, and have a UV and non UV tent. But it's coverage is perfect for the 2.3 * 2.3 foot smaller tent. Although it is far, far brighter than the TS1000 I had in there, even at the same power level (tested with eyes rather than a meter). If it fit in the 2*4 I wouldn't need to add the SP. But it doesn't, so here we are. Think I'd recommend a 3*3 for it though.
I'm looking forward to finding it's operation range, ie. How far from closest to furthest usable distance.

That's disappointing, images seem better after being whattsapp compressed through two phones before uploading, than they are uploaded at full resolution.

Edit:. Ah you have to zoom in a little too see a full sized image properly on a phone. I'm still getting to grips with the new site.

Here's a side view to track growth.

Hey Mars, yeah this is my hamlet. The fastest finisher I have.
By cutting her back before flowering, I control where the growth will come from, and by letting the roots develop before I do that, it allows for a decent growth rate. Then transfering into a shallow wide tub, I encourage sideways growth rather than vertical growth. I'll pop more compost on top of what's there in a week.
Still that's enough waffle, pics:

Ok, they must be doing something behind the scenes as I can't load pics right now.

I had to do these one at a time, but at least it's working now,
Pistils starting to form, so let's call this day one of flower, currently at 75% power, on 12.5/11.5 lighting.

Quick pics post, after comparing the growth rate between my TSL and the FC, although I resisted at first, the addition of UV, or the new chips, or new design, or something, is making a noticeable different in growth. I'm convinced, these FC units ( baring in mind I haven't tried an FCE) are the ones to go for.

Good question, to be honest I have no idea. I'll show you the process.
IMG_20220429_195833.jpg

Ok so in the centre front, you can see, sorry it's a bit dark, there are two cuts in a see through cup, once I see roots, I'll take them both out to find out which cut rooted. If they both root, the larger root mass will be transferred into a proper container and the other will be binned.
Once in the container, it will be kept in almost stasis, but not quite. The front right plant has recently been the winner of such a survival battle. The male at the back right has been cut back several times, since I don't need him right now. The rest are slowly veging. The flowering on the grow hasn't been going long, so all of the little ones will stay like that for maybe a couple of months. Then something will be chosen for a big container and turned to 14/10 ish for a week, then flowered. As you can see from the first post, at that point I'll cut it back again to direct growth.
Clearly I would never do this with seeds, but clones have their own rules. These stay on 24/0. Yeah I know I need another tent for these.
Any not chosen for the next round, will have to wait for the round after, that's if I don't get bored and pop some seeds. If I do, they'll be waiting a while.
So I guess the question is, what do you call veg lol.
There is a bigger tent on the go as well, so some will go in there after these finish, but they are a week behind this thread, I'll show them here just for this post, under a tsl2000.
IMG_20220429_141752~3.jpg

It'll get busy in there by the end of next week.
So in short, sorry mate, I don't know how to give a straight answer on that.

Oh it probably is, but it's just been on very light duties for that time, as in sharing 25w with a bunch of others waiting their turn.

I think this is day 7 of flower, or end of week 1, which ever you prefer. Just turned the FC3000 up to full power. Now I can see again, thought I'd post a pic 😁

IMG_20220501_151901~2.jpg

I need to clear some popcorn out but this pic doesn't show it, so I won't worry about it today.
Loving the tent, loving the light, and it seems the plant is too.

Mars, Gizmo 🤗
Where are the IC smileys now?

Update time.
I just moved the light from 52cm away, to 41cm away. It's still at full strength.
I'm losing track of what day it is, but I think we're counting sundays, so it's still in the second week for a couple of days. There again I count from pistils and not the switch in lighting times, so some may say 3rd week.
It's all going swimmingly, I suppose I should point out that this is the tent without a fan on top, so it may have done better if it did have that. Still, it's not looking bad so far 😁
