Did any one ever watch Mighty Max?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=1-Q7a6SxIBk

I was a huge fan of mighty max! I would get up early before school and always watch it! Remember when mcdonalds had the happy meals with the pocket toy of might max where you open it and it's like a miniature area and you could move the people around? A copy of Polly Pocket.

Rocko's Modern Life was also a big favorite of mine.

I'm really surprised nobody has mentioned transformers...

Awsome thread.

First of all, if you're talking about weekday morning live action people and human-sized stuffed animals in the early 70s than, of course, you're talking about:

"The New Zoo Review"

If you're talking about early Sat morning clamation, than it's:

"Davey and Goliath."

If you're talking about learning what it was like to grow up when everyone making TV was on psychedelics, then it's:

"Gumby," "H.R. Puffinstuff" and "Lidsville."

If your talking aboutthe best of the Robert J. Canell detective action shows and it was a 1970s Friday night, then it has to be:
"The Rockford Files"

Homorable mention for get-up early ADD kids, such as myself:

"Hobo Kelly"

Widget the World Watcher
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (own just about every toy they made, including the Techno-Drome. Thing was huge!)
Rambo (classic horrible 80s cartoon)
G.I. Joe (knowing is half the battle)
the Snorks (smurfs underwater basically)
EEk the Cat
Oh, and that cartoon where it was Yogi Bear, Booboo, Huckleberry Hound, SnagglePuss, Quickdraw McGraw, Auggie Doggy and Doggy Daddy, Touche Turtle and all the rest, and they flew around in a giant Ark. Yogi's Gang?? Something like that.

But nothing can touch Merry Melodies, just too classic. Used to come on all the time, now it barely, if ever, does. Sad to think about what kids are missing out on.

I used to wake up at 5 every morning to watch Mr. Wizard :headbange and Inspector Gadget with my brother. Beakman's World was good too.

And as far as Mr. Rogers, I always thought he sounded/looked like a pedophile. I always compared other pedos to him, because I thought he was the poster child for pedophiles if you will. Not like he ever gave a reason for me to think that, he just came off that way to me.

Awww, I liked Mr Rogers.... lol

I guess at that age, I wasn't looking at people as creepy pedophiles yet, i was too young. He always had pretty interesting segments, the one i remember most was they took you to a crayon factory and showed how crayons were made.

Either that, or maybe I'm thinking of Sesame street with the crayon making thing?? I dont know, but I loved both those shows.
