Hey misterD,
Please keep us posted on the Wild strain. I have a bunch of them for this yr.
I have heard of auto tendencies on some, but doesn't look like you have that problem.

Hey GG,

Cool, thanks.

I give half dose of cal/mag last week. She/he look great, nothing burn.

Another 4-5 weeks under the T5, if she's girl. I save couples cut, and i'll put her in my last indoor run! :tiphat:

Any idea where to get le petit vite or some info on it??

No idea man, sorry!

It's a quebec clone grown from lacolle to abitibi! I heard and taste her mid 2000's. Few keep it in my circle, cause she need lot of light and 20/24 hours to being keep alive.

She also named "Widow" in my area.

the more I think about this subject of north of 50 strains, I keep coming back to the auto flower strains. I'm noticing a difference with these in that some are "very fast" 70 days for example, while others are 90 to 120 days. I have 5 seeds of regular Betty Warp , a texada timewarp auto hybrid. On paper they look perfect with the 120 day auto flower life cycle.
my buddy who lives at sea level near Vancouver has the other 5 seeds from the pack of 10.
I'll start mine beginning of june to hope for a august/early sept finish at 51N 3000ft elevation. Will keep ya all posted

Seems like the options are -

* Short flowering strain. Used to be Early Pearl filled that bill.

* Autoflower strain where the best you can do is, match the amount of autoflower to the grow location.

* Light supplementation with HID or LED lights, outdoors, to help give the plants a 12/12 light schedule.

* Possibly use rolling garbage cans as a big rolling grow container, so plants can be moved when need be.

My neighbor on one side loses the sun about September 15, because of shading by a mountain.

My most secure grow location on one side sort of falls in the same shadow. I could grow enormous plants there, with the situation that they are growing in shade for the last 3 weeks.

Anyway, lack of sunlight when you're in the middle of flowering is one of the main things we spent shooting the breeze about last year.

I offered to put up mirrors on some of my trees because that would actually give him an extra 2 hours of light. :woohoo:

I'm testing a few autos as well this season. The ones I tried last year were very finicky. Some never grew after transplant. Stayed about 6 inches and only produced a gram maybe. Others did fine. I'm planting most straight in the ground this year so no transplant shock.
Best of luck

Wow, never really thought about that aspect of growing in the mountains. It never ceases to amaze me how different each of our growing areas can be.

Cheers GG

Thanks for the update, you only have the one going?
So about 6 weeks no sex yet? What do you have for light?
That sucks, I was hoping to sex indoors, but if they don't show for 6 weeks they will be getting to big to carry into the bush.
hope you get a female.

Peace GG

I got a bag of 200 seeds from the "operation over grow" crowd.
They come from a facility in BC that is owned by DuPont. I got them first hand from an insider that works there who is also a big part of the over grow movement up here.
no idea what surprises may be in store from those seeds but they sure look healthy ;)

Hey GG,

Great new, that's a lady! ... But she seem to want to stay in flowering. If i can suggest you, veg them indoor for max 1 month at 20-22 hrs lights per day. They wont be sexed, right! But at mid june outdoor, they'll prolly grow for a month or so, and then turn into flowering!

That how i usually work with some semi auto flowering ... As example, "le petite vite" except here le petit vite turn into flowering faster, due to my lat!!

You should also look for the tropical seeds auto strains, made of chitral kush and also a auto hybrid made of mazar! They got great resistence.

Glad to hear it's a girl, congrats.
So how many weeks to show sex? And about how tall is it?
Sounds like a auto if it won't stop flowering at 22 hrs light.
Are you going to try and clone it, if so please let me know how it clones for you.
Thank's for the info, really appreciate it.

Peace GG

P.S. Probably asked you before, but what latitude you at?

About seven weeks man, she's 2 feet tall now! I should have been training her, but don't really find the time.

But don't forget man, i keep mine under 15/9 ... Also feel like she'll stay in flowering!

No plan on cloning her, they really sativa made for great outdoor.

I'm at 46N, so 15 hrs per day is somewhere early july here.

If i start some late may early june, with 2 weeks indoor grow on a normal schedule 18/6. They can easily start flowering mid july and be done by the end of august

I'm waiting for late May-June. Although I could probably put them out now, flowers are growing in the yard already and trees budding a month early around here.
Looks like another hot and dry year.
Cheers GG
