We are officially going to kick off the new season for the farmers market on Sat Oct 17th. This year we will be accepting clone vendors as usual but we have decided to open the market up to all medical product vendors so we hope to have meds, edibles, concentrates etc.
And of course tomorrow is our 1st anniversary party and cup challenge.. It should be fun

Hey rowdy, any idea how far in drive time Clear Lake is from South Lake Tahoe?

Also, how long does your season run, October 17th until approximately?

Newcomer here; I too, want to thank everyone for their friendliness, and hospitality, my first time at the "cup" and it was not only my first time at a cup, but first time at an mmj dispensary. I learned stuff at the "cup" about mj that I didn't even know that I didn't know. One of the most important things I learned is to always mark my ballot after each pass; seems my indelible memory, that I was formerly noted for, got erased after 10 minutes in that smoke filled room. may not have voted, my apologies to all of the growers for that (great stuff), but met a lot of people who I am hoping to get to know better over time. I have immense appreciation for your talents and dedication. Kudos to anyone who finds something that they love to do. Be looking forward to the next time. Thanks everyone; it was a great time.

Thank you so much rowdy for putting together a great event for us all to enjoy. It was my first cup event I've entered and I had a great time and can't wait for next time. OK so I've wanted to write something since I got back but have been busier than a bee. I had such a great time and loved actually meeting and conversing instead of showing up at the end like my previous 'karmacup' experience. I wish I could have talked to more people but those of you I did talk to, thank you, it was my pleasure. Nobull56, Jbleezy, Norkali, Payaso, and of course the wonderful ladies I really enjoyed everyone. Great food and even better herb, oh and I really liked the banana bread to boot. Everyone's entry had it's own amazing qualities, I feel honored to win because I found it so hard to choose from such a great selection.

Thank you all for your votes I was very honored to win amongst such a great selection of superb cannabis. I look forward to bringing something new to the table Jan. 9th. I was literally up all night harvesting (in the rain) my new entry and a nice 2+ month cure job should make for some delish medicine.

This master kush is my favorite kush around. Ever since i first laid my eyes on it I knew it was special. It grows real slow in veg and does not like being topped. Its ready in 7 weeks. the yield is poor, but the outcome is well worth it! This kush has come real close to winning. I know that it will win the cup here soon

We are back to winter hours.. Closed Mon & Tues.
I have had so many people come to me who werent ready for the last cup who want a second cup event in the harvest season.. we have discussed it and have decided to offer another cup event for those who didnt get in on the last one or who want a second go around! Sat, Oct 31st.
Due to concerns about H1N1 please bring an extra amount for individual testing.. about a gram per person. We will accept entries until 1 p.m. then the testing will begin and we will vote at 4:20.
We are starting a "wall of fame" with pictures of the winning buds.
May the best grower win...

This cutting was taken to Clearlake/Arcata but not wanted because it does not have a good nose or flavors and is now extinct. It is a missed great producer with good effects.
