Sorry I missed you yesterday B.G. but very nice to talk with you and feel free to call my cell phone anytime.
We are officially going to kick off the new season for the farmers market on Sat Oct 17th. This year we will be accepting clone vendors as usual but we have decided to open the market up to all medical product vendors so we hope to have meds, edibles, concentrates etc.
And of course tomorrow is our 1st anniversary party and cup challenge.. It should be fun

1 more day!

1 more day!

Nobull, i hope you don't mind, but after heavy consideration I'm switching what I'm going to enter into the cup, to the Gob 9. That's instead of an exotic 100+ day sativa which I know hasn't been grown in cali maybe ever, because the GOB9 is just that good. I'm not easily impressed and I am throughly excited to be able to share this and I think it has a good possibility of winning.

Smell is so sweet it reminds me of the candy "Smarties" but a little sweeter, taste is starting to transfer the further along she cures. The best part of all is the effect....ahhh...Wow is one of many words to describe the medicating effects. For those who don't smoke too often be careful with this one, I get what I call the "wigglies" from a nice big hit, meaning (now bare with me here) it makes me feel like my internal parts get a massage and my eyes start to wiggle with a heavy head rush that follows. Not saying this is how it will effect every one, but one of the tester buds did this too me, then when my friend tried her, he almost passed out from a heavy head rush. He said, after a min of staring at my garden, that everything went neon colored, like he was shrooming.

Oh and last but not least the stalks that hold the thc gland in some areas have turned magenta while holing amber glands, I wish I had a camera good enough to capture this gorgeous piece of art.

Can't wait to see you all there, it's going to be a fun time. Get there safe all.

Until manana....Proph.

Unknown, I encourage you bring the GOB-9. I to have been IMPRESSED with this girl! She is part of our garden too & we have been breeding with this neighbor for about twenty (20) years. I'd love to put one of his beauties in the books. I’ll cut a Flower & bring it, as ours needs a week or two more.

Congrat's everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Take care,
BG

PS, can anyone give me some info on this LA OG I picked up at GK? Never heard of a LA OG Kush before. Any info would be great.
Thanks

I was looking at those as well, but noticed PM patches here and there on them....I would have loved to pick one up as well. Potassium Bicarbonate everybody, the stuff works great! Cheap too!

Once again Good Karma provided a wonderful event. There were some familiar faces as well as some new ones for me.

I am simply amazed at the ability of a plant to bring attitudes together and form a common ground for people from all walks of life to share a bit of time together.

For those of you that were present I want to personally thank you.

For those that missed it, I am sorry you could not be there.

Rowdy and the staff were wonderful hosts, the pot luck was suitable for all including those of us that do not eat meat (I do however, and sampled some of everything except the cheesecake, I ran out of steam by then).

The feeling of the room was relaxed and friendly with lots of noise, laughter and merriment, right up until the competition was sparked, then dead silence when the challengers began the rounds (expectation is a powerful thing). Then amazingly enough within a few minutes there was even more noise, laughter and merriment that continued through the afternoon.

Congratulations to the raffle winners (that is me being a "Good Sport").

I always look forward to visiting Good Karma, and to get to visit on the date of the Cup was just a real blessing.

Thank you for the opportunity, I really appreciate GKG and the people that make it a special place on this planet.

Love to all from the Island.

The Good Karma Anniversary Cup had some very nice buds to choose from..
there were two Chem Dawgs, a Blue Dream, 2 Bubba Kush, Gob-9, Master Kush, Romulan and a last minute entry of Shrom.
I thought the Bubba Kush #1 was outstanding in flavor and it just knocked you back on the first toke.. the master kush was also a favorite. I myself thought the Shrom was outstanding medicine with that familiar trainwreck flavor but with a robust fruitiness that was just lip smacking good! The Gob-9 was obviously very impressive.
Thanks to everyone!! and especially to those who brought the delicious food and some of the best peaches I've ever had.
Thank you payaso for the contributions, eddie video to give away and all of your good thoughts.
Congradulations to the winner and lets all get ready for our next Good Karma New Year Cup Jan 9, 2010!
Peace and love to everyone..:joint:

Good Karma Growers are the BEST!

We had a fine time there yesterday, it was great to meet so many folks from the site having a high time!

And a BIG THANKS to all who contributed to the Eddy Lepp raffle - another $64 was raised for him - and sent to his commissary account in prison. The winner received some medicine donated by Good Karma, a copy of Eddy's book, and an advance copy of the "Who Is Eddy Lepp?" video.

Every entry I tasted was superb, it was difficult to choose just one, as always, but that's the fun! Congratulations to Unknown Prophet, that Gob-9 is great! Thanks for letting me use your ice-filled bubbler for a smooth, chilled experience.

Sorry I couldn't make it.
Opened up a new Collective on Friday, thought it was going to be next week.
January 9 is circled on my calendar.
All reports indicate the 'Cups' was a resounding success, as we all knew it would be :)
Good Karma is legendary. Keep up the good work.

Hey prepress we know you were with us in spirit! It was like hanging at the Greenhouse Centrum - without the Westmalle beers, and/or the Cannabis Poet - but WONDERFUL!

NoBull had the most amazing flower to show off, it was great! However my pic came out blurry due to medicinal intake...

Here are the samples, after being tasted!

And the ballots being counted...

Thank you Cali and everyone else who attended the event! I thought the Bubba Kush #1 was outstanding medicine and done to perfection as is your usual end result. I loved the Master Kush as well. I think there were alot of winners with masterfully done medicine.
I myself had a very good time seeing all the friends from icmag and elsewhere.
