Falling out of a perfectly good airplane?

Hello all,

Well it seems after 30 years of talking about it I, a 47 yo 225lb parapelgic, am scheduled to jump from an airplane harnessed to the guy with the parachute.


ITS PHVQVING CRAZY.

I am on fire with fear, anticipation, adrinaline.

So, if any of you out there have been skydiving-chime in-tell me what to expect.

I am on FIRE.

This weekend will be like no other I am sure.

Hell Yes I Say. You are never to old to have fun and enjoy life. You will be back to jump trust me on that one. It is one of the most enjoyable experiences besides in diving you only get to have a bad day once,so enjoy the thrill and we will be looking for the story.

Yeah a few nice bongrips on the way up and a blunt on the way down... haha that'd be sweet if you were rippin a fat blunt in the air, but the experience will probably take your breath away :)

I've always wanted to skydive..

you jumping tandom or solo? i've been talking about doing it for years.i am a huge adrenaline junkie.racing dirt track stockcars has been my drug of choice to this point to get that adrenaline rush.

Hello all,

Less then 24 hours now.

I am not going to be stoned-won't need it from the adrenaline.

I am going tamdem-it is not set in stone, the tandem instructor has to approve it- but I have high hopes.

I would be funny to be pushed from an airplane in my wheelchair. The parachutes land sort of like an airplane now a days instead of landing vertically.

I am told it is like sliding into home base when you land.

Man skydiving is awesome. I went last year and it was amazing. On the way up you get harnessed in, then when you get to the point your good to go, they basically hang out out the side of the plane for a few seconds then BAM your out. Doesn't even feel like your falling because your so high up...feels more like flying. Then the ride down after the chute opens is so peaceful and a great view. I am so glad I did it, definatley an awesome experience that you'll love. Oh and they make you go tandom for the first 10 times or something.

Like you said landing is kind of like sliding into home plate depending on who you go with...my friend's guy landed them on his feet, my guy landed us on our asses.

Have a great time minds_i, I'm sure you will. Oh and I smoked before I went...but it didn't do much. They make you watch an intructional video, get dressed, other people go before you, ect. By the time I got on the plane I wasn't even stoned anymore...its not needed though its a great adrenaline rush. They tell you not to go if you've had any drugs or alcohol in the past 12 hours or something, but I was drinking like 5 hours before (the night before) and smoked that morning so its all good. Damn this post is much too long.

Just took a few rips of the ghetto roor and feel good.

I am thinking of doing this sober and getting ripped afterwards.
