ok i posted this in my thread too but i figure the best advice is gonna come from the F.A.M. anyways most likely so heres the question...
who makes the best grow tents?
i want one with no bad side effects off gassing and what not..
like a 4 x 4 x 6 or 4 x 5 x 6 or so. somewhere around there.
it needs to be sturdy and light tight because the room it will go in the lights do get turned off and on sometimes and sometimes left on...

i was gonna shoot to the grow shop today and pick up the ebb and flow system but imma wait till you guys give me some advice on the tent and get them both at the same time, cause i want a good one.they have the e&f in stock but the tent they gotta order so as soon as you guys can help me out the better cause i wanna get on the road early tomorrow its a 2 hr, drive to the shop i like.

if i remember correctly , the ones that used the plastic support poles are teh crappy ones, you want the tent that uses the metal poles. i was reading about in a thread they started about them, and i think the company corrected the problem. some people got their money some didnt.

access right on bro.one quick ? what nutes are easiest to use for ebb and flow?

T:I've used General Hydroponics Maxigrow and Maxibloom forever in practically every situtation: soil, hydroponics...you name it. It's as simple as adding water to the right amount of powder. Mix it & Forget it. Did you try Worm's Way online to see if they have that other hydro nute? I didn't but it's probably the first place I'd look: www.wormsway.com

Toker: Yeah bro, all I can say is that I'm accustomed to about a q.p. per month from my closet. That's a couple z's for my head and I can spread the love to friends also. Since I've been branching out with newer genetics, I've had to make some concessions with regards to the amounts I can pull at any given time. For instance: I've got 1 ERSB, 2 OPIUM and 1 ICE CREAM flowering right now. They'll be done about mid Nov. If the numbers are right on, I should get about a oz. off each plant....what I should be doing is putting 4 Eds in, and during the next cycle 4 of something else I like, etc. This way I can get back to the best of both worlds: relatively decent yield and variety. The variety comes as I accumulate and cure the previous harvests. I've got spots for 8 broads in my closet Ebb & Flow...that works well because I split it right down the middle and fill it every 4 weeks with new gals. Now that I'm coming down the homestretch with evaluating and growing out new varieties I can concentrate more specifically on yield.

i think imma roll with that because the gh stuff is always readily available here.

T: I don't check the pH all the time. It would be easy however if you wanted to put in a continuous pH monitor. Keeping the reservoir re-filled and cleaned regularly will cut down on pH drifting. The General Hydroponics stuff is exactly like that guy Lance is demonstrating in the video. The only difference is I buy bigger containers and scoop out the amount of nutrients I need. The instructions are really simple: it's like 1 tsp. of nutrient powder for every gallon of water. 10 gallons = 1 tsp, 70 gallons = 70 tsp., etc. You mix the stuff exactly like gatorade or koolaid.

So today I got my load of bugs to start the war on thrips! I unleashed 10,000 "Thrip-Eating Predator Mites: a.k.a - Amblyseius cucumeris" and 100 "Pirate Bugs: a.k.a. - Orius Insidiosus". I've got 1500 Ladybugs in the fridge as well as 1000 "Green Lacewings" hatching ready for the next wave of attack. It's going to be like that "Monster Island" old Japanese movie where all the sh*t his the fan.

Ok, I had the MRI with contrast last Monday.......my doc finally told me what was going on today......I am really lucky that I have a mass???? they dunno what it is.....but in the middle it is necrotic, which means that the mass that has grown into my bladder and my intestine/bowel is not malignant, so I will not lose any bowel or intestine when they remove the MASS?....but, unfortunately, the small spot they found on my left ovary is malignant...I need a full hysterectomy, which I already knew, but they will be doing a full abdomenal exploration, to be assured there has been no spreading of any cells. On the positive front, I will not need a colostomy bag, as the mass intersecting my bowel is completely BENIGN!!!! I need to get my mind around how really lucky I am that they found this, and I won't need a colostomy...but I am scared. All of you and your positivity are gonna be what gets me through....but please keep TOH and the kids in your prayers....they NEED that. I will be back when I am not so fucked up......have a good one....peace....O.
