In the Chautauqua that is my life, I endeavor to educate and entertain. I complemented your use of 'almost', comparing it to that great Spartan response of, 'if'. Apparently, you took it the wrong way.

Question for you, if homosexuality is so bad, why is it still around? If it were a negative trait, it seems it would have been bred out of the gene pool but here we are with the same 10-13% of the gays as has always been. It's not like many of the homos are reproducing, certainly not in the numbers as heterosexuals. Perhaps there is a reproductive advantage to have the gays around? Maybe having the gay sibling who doesn't have off-spring around increases the chances of raising the kids and them reproducing. After all, those kids are closely related to the gays, even if they aren't direct decedents. It's the gene, not the organism that matters at least according to Dawkins.

That line of logic holds true for ants, lions, cheetahs, clown-fish and that's just off the top of my head. For answers to your issue with gayness, perhaps a look in the mirror is called for:

Gay means happy.

Homosexual is a completely different word with a completely different meaning.
