all the full-ripe pics here and other threads have me convinced it's best to let the plant complete it's life cycle. it will express all it's best attributes in the last weeks. I am pushing a G13/HazeXNYCD past 10 weeks. patience is waning.

Tops were taken a week ago and the bottoms filling out a little now there is some light , strong flavour on these lower buds is worth a fiddly trim , smoke these myself in preference.

It looks a little oversaturated and red shifted to me , these shades are hard to get right.

I used a pre war lense for the above pics and had the same colour caste on a Canon digital , corrected in software.

Nspecta,s lovely plant probably looks like this desaturated a touch and rebalanced to daylight , a few seconds with the free FastStone software , would have guessed a Blackberry cross or Killing Fields , a real stunner.

big twinn & foomar~ I don't photoshop, alter, or enhance my pics outside of my camera...my camera's setting are ramped up a bit in the contrast & saturation fields for sure but not extravagantly so. My personal preference is pictures that more closely resemble what I see with my own eye versus pics that the color is nearly washed out on...afterall, this thread is called "EXTRAordinarily colorful herbs". ;)

For Example: Both the pics below (and the previous pics I posted above) were taken with the same settings, same backdrop, same lighting, same day...same everything...and yes, they are that red to the naked eye.

The '76 Purple Kush is a hybrid my bro Elkslayer made...Mendocino Purple x BlackBerry Widow F3...I started with 160 F1 seeds...flowered out 76 plants and found only ONE bright red female Kush type plant.
