Let me pick both of your brains next year when my life gets back to normal and my own project is finally rolling along on its own i just cannot deal with more stuff now; im at the mercy of two ageing parents and two rowdy toddlers; loooong way away from my beloved grow in the mountains...

Im already in the disco but still getting used to the the new interface. Doing some led developments, there will be tests and side by sides and i will thread or take it to the dance floor once i got something more to show. Close to start prototyping...

The buds show very delicious, tasty and very beautiful.
As a guy said above, when you cut the plants, it is good to remove the yellow leaves because it changes the taste and color of the buds.

I used to run HPS @ my old house as a Caregiver for 5 Patients. I promised my Wife I would NOT take over This house, and only grow for personal consumption.

With that in mind, I picked up a 32x60x80in Vivosun tent, and a ViparSpectra xs1500pro led panel. I grow in 1 gallon bags, using Turface w/ microfiber wicks over a res. using Jacks Hydroponics and Cal/Nitrate. Similar to the original PPK#1.

Ithats a nice good size but one light only seems a bit low on light? Autos? Turface/jacks... Ive been looking for both in Euro for years, lol, a bit jelly... Hoping to do a drain to waste ppk inspired cock grow for my buddy. Water retention goes down about 2/3 so we could possibly keep watering schedule with bigger pots. But my partner is hard to convince or change.

Edit: sorry i thought i was responding to explo, its a cool setup and you have plenty of vertical space

I usually run top feed with a Master res, with no res below plant, allowing the wicks to Drain only. That eliminates the PWT in the plant bucket so I can feed every hour or 2, to keep the roots ALWAYS with feed and O2. I challenge anyone to find a better growth system! SERIOUSLY!

Drain to waste is just wasteful, Recirculating with a Master res, no air pump, no res changes, add only! Easy Peasy! Super low Effort, Cost and Maintenance.

I could not Fathom trying to do soil again outside, so I stripped my system to be a Turface Swick (orig PPK) over res.

No deficiencies, same nute formula from start to finish, just watch ph.
