IMO Buyin kill doesnt support terrorists.... it supports your local drug dealer.... which MOST of the times... is a pretty decent bloke.

:respect: I like your grow style. simplicity to the max, very efficent and cost effective.

lol i cant believe tho you never sprung for a timer. doesnt turnin on and off the lights for 5 years get annoyin after awhile?

keep it green,

Sleepy, the odour is totally cool, anything that stinks the place out hasn't gone into the background, I think the orange bud was the smelliest of its ancestors, and that wasnt too bad. Once hung and drying though it can get a bit much. Remember, D is now pretty much on its own so things arent that bad. The cola size, well, I'll post pics with something to show, but what is truly universal? I think I'll cover her in packets of skins, we are all familiar with them.

Bartender, your local drug dealer in the UK, only place I have any experience, is buying their drugs not growing them. Some specialise, a lot have a choice of drugs. The peeps they buy from may be ok peeps. The folks they buy from are starting to get heavy. The guys who import the stuff are heavy. The guys who export the stuff to here, are the guys who grow and manufacture the drugs. They have large areas of land to protect in countries with poor law enforcement and in most cases rogue armies that must be bought off. Or you can forget this chain, and flip a switch. That was the point I was trying to make, all be it in quite a flipant way. If anyone has any freinds who are in this line, no offence meant, but I hope you can see what I meant.
Efficiency of effort and materials is my aim with this hobby. The vast majority of time I put in is in standing and watching them grow. Never sprung for a timer lol, I've blown that many timers I gave up on them. Apparently you need some kind of spike eliminator or summot. Anyway, Now its second nature, and I have developed a slightly curved envelope for the times rather than the stepped approach, and 2 days never have exactly the same amount of light. They range from 8/16 to 14/10 depending on my mood/avtivities/memory/their stage. I really do do things the lazy way whenever possible. Out of interest BT, did you read the thread right through, your quoting the very first post I made on this thread, at the end, I thought this was too long for new peeps to join now, either you've got some patience, found it interesting, or did what I normally do on these threads and cheat. Either read every other page, or filter down to the thread starter.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, thats what makes these threads worth putting any effort into.

I think Pack shed a tear when I lopped off the head of my Tri-Queen too, but damn it men, wipe away those tears and brace yourselves for a tale that would have mere mortals sobbing in their handkercheifs. The tale of Offtopicus. Offtopicus was a young girl, born to an offtopic mother plant after a dilliance with a rather uncouth gentleman by the name of G. G, it has been roumoured lived off imoral earnings. Offtopicus was raised very stricly, having each new head she grew removed immediately. This began earlier than with most

and she was never allowed to slip

Each and every node she grew, she was forced to grow 2 necks to 2 new nodes.
When she had 8 top nodes, a stage was missed and then continued at the next set of nodes to make 16 tops and 16 potential budding sites below. Thes 16 were topped again to make 32 tops. At this point, due to the characteristic very tall genes of one of her Great grandmothers on her fathers side, she was far too tall to allow to blossom into adulthood in the way she wanted to. I'm afraid she needed to be brought back down to size, and so everything was surgically removed from her back down to the lowest 16 potential budding sites, which by that time had begun to branch. Well these 8 heads of little offtopicus went into overdrive, bless her. And grew into 16 magic beanstlks in their own right. In order to test what will happen more than anything, oh and so the requirement for food doesn't become too strong, all but 5 of these avenues for little offtopicus have also been taken away from her. So now she looks a little stressed out and dismayed at all her efforts being thrown away, but she's still in their fighting for her share of the light and trying to do something with herself, from now on I'll be good to her, I promise.Pics when she's a little more presentable.

In the US, if you were buyin quality kind bud, then you knew it was homegrown... but yeah i agree that when you buy bisters/schwag.. somewher down the line your money is prob. supportin some pretty hardcore peeps.

GrowDoc, Yeah, I've settled for regular sized swan papers. I've gone through all the varieties on offer around here, and green swans are my final choice.
Assuming I'm not splashing out on a roll of rips.

Pack, if your into moms and clones then yes, I threw away about a dozen possible clones and she's still reaching for the light. May have to throw in a little late stage lst just to control height.

Bartender, Thanks man, hope you didnt miss out on my lovely current tri. New pic coming up within the hour.

Stay tuned folks,

I can't believe i have'nt been watching this thread...just read the whole thing and am impressed...I just love how shiney the plants are. dont see that much ...or i'm blind..

so let me see if i'm right...you're breeding these strains under the conditions of your weird approach to light on or off at all kinds of times...no nutes at all..just soil mix and water when the plants LOOK like they need it.?..so the strain will do good in these conditions?..well..i have to say that they look great..so healthy..
nice job dude......this helps me with some of my theory on nutes......keep it simple.

I'm glad you like her Pack, I posted the pics small because I think they are poor pictures, just to keep you informed on her progress really. Her leaves are the deepest green, almost black, and so glossy. I am pretty sure that the clone of her will take, as its leaves are now pointing upwards again. I'll get some pics worth posting nice and big of her soon, but I seem to have lost the knack of taking pics recently. So you'd like one just like her would you? Well remember I planted 12 seeds to get 2 tris and one of them was deformed, (may have grown out of it given a chance) so even if I released the seeds, there would be no guarantees on anyone else getting one. Thats why I want to breed from her again, with a couple of lines actually, I have another off topic plant growing that I am hoping will be a boy, and contains tri genes, the problem is that I have never found a tri male, so breeding tri to tri is virtuually impossible. I am not going down the hermie route. Thats why I am just breeing the offspring from tris with tris in the hope that will produce a stable tri line. Or at least tri girls and 2 leaved males, making sexing easy at an early age. This means that this tri may be around for some time yet.
Issack, so you read the whole thing, ready for a test? lol. Well I have used a couple of scoops of miracle grow, and a few shots of PH down, to bring a few drinks down to 6. After a few generations of living like this, they have evolved to love these conditions. And they are very expressive, so you always know what they want.
The simpler you keep things, the less things you can mess up.

gmt - truer words were never spoken! Over and over I've had to learn this lesson in my life - I tend to overcomplicate in the beginning, but always end up back at the simple things of life  :bigeye:

Here we go Pack, loud and proud, ( the best of 2 dozen pics, I'm going to have to take her out of her home to photo her properly I think) On second thoughts Pack, the photo you enlarged for me is actually better, oh well, it took me longer enough to upload,

Thanks Sleepy, and I've done my homepage now, thanks for the inspiration, The knowledge comes from bredding around 7 generations of their ancestors.

MGJ, I learned the hard way too.

PS, it seems tri to tri is not impossible, and there may be a few people releasing tri lines of their own soon, there are certainly more people interested in doing this than I thought.
