What about germination time?

Plus clones are already plants basically, so you can't really say they've been in veg for X number of days, because before that they were vegging on another plant.

Plus time is relative. Have to factor in the Earth's rotation etc..

Yes, i know about miniature mothers, but i meant how big could a plant get by vegging for years....... would the super long branches start to form different colas?

....keeping a photo-periodic plant in veg permanently ...for years.. no colas would grow, until the light sun/lamp falls to 12x12 or thereabouts
...an autoflower on the other hand would flower

I once vegged a plant for 38 minutes. With LST training for 45 minutes I pulled 1 pound of nugs from it. Also fed a family in Africa with a mcdonalds cheeseburger.

SuperKaui said 'Bummer George' was flying with clones of the pre-x86 Hawaiian crIppy , They were flying from Hawaii to Indonesia to surf, and there was a layover in Miami. George got cold feet instead of bringing the clones to Indonesia where he would possibly have the death sentence, he instead made seeds during the layover. That's pretty chronic and sure as hell is cooler than than any cheeseburger stories.

I meant could you theoretically fill a warehouse with one plant by vegging it for years and then flowering it?

Only if put into flower by increasing the dark period and decreasing the light period.

In theory it could get huge but I would imagine that before it got to that point the grower would have trimmed it down some by taking cuts. To be honest though I'm not 100% sure as I replace my mothers every few months with clones of the mothers. The longest I've kept the same mother growing was about 6 months or so.

In theory I suppose but at that size eventually you'll have problems supplying it with the right amount of nutes and you would have to do it hydro style because the soil requirements for a plant that big would be ridiculous.

30 day veg. That's 30 days from seed drop so what 25 - 27 days veg. I always plan for 30 days but base it on stretch and size.


Last run same veg schedule. Yield over 600 grams on a single plant.

Well I can't say for sure. In theory yes, I suppose. To what purpose though? You would be investing a lot of time and money, way more then to grow a warehouse full of clones. The only result, besides the crop would be able to truthfully say you filled a warehouse with one plant. Given that size though it would really need to be outdoors to get enough lighting to support that kind of growth. And speaking of support can you imagine all the support the branches would need to keep them from falling to the ground?

For veg time I don't have a time period I stick to as a rule. Rather I look for certain things like is it at a height that if doubled in height during stretch, wouldn't cause problems. I also look for the leaves to seven fingers or more to them. Plants with leaves that have less will still flower but not as well in my opinion.

Put some high CFM fans in there on a 1 minute on 20 minutes off. Strengthens the stems.

Dude you could veg for a year and it would be like that tomato tree as Disney Epcot that produced 33,000 lbs of tomatos for their own salads there on the base.
