24 hours with 1000w bulb is 24kw hours in one day
24kw hours takes 4 days with 250w lamp.
250 x 4=1000
1000/250=4
2 weeks x 4=8 weeks
math>emoticons
That is just the kw hours that equal out. If you take identical cuts a veg one for 2 weeks under a 1000w and the other for 8 weeks under a 250w the 8 week 250w veg will be way bigger.
So it is a double win.

you are 100% right on the usage of watts comparison.
but thinking that 2 weeks veg with 1000watts should equal 8 weeks veg under 250watts is erroneous, since we must consider that we are talking about a plant that is alive and that it must go through all kinds of bio-chemical processes that take time in order to grow.
you veg for two weeks using 1 million watts, it won't make the plant grow faster than it is able genetically speaking.

Why? Seriously I am not taking offense to this. I know my mind works different. My teachers, parents and wife will all agree. I do often have the problem solved correctly. It is my method that is odd.
What do you think is wrong with what I posted?
I read nothing but I admit I am a sad excuse for a grower and veg lasts 2 if not 3 or more months. Now what was the advantage in admitting that? Admittedly, nothing! But I had to say it for the good of all, regardless. I wish I could speed things up but have no clue. But yeah from where I am coming from, a 4 or 6 week veg like some claim seems a far cry from reality, but what do I know?!

I don't really want to get into it with you though because it would take too long to explain and then you will just disagree with me and it'll end up in a debate about absolutely nothing, for which i just do not have the time nor energy.
Just keep in mind that there are very experienced growers on here that DO take exception to incorrect statements being made.
That is all; im leaving this thread as it is making me mad that such a bullshit topic even got bought up in the first place. Only immature little kids would even think about these topics so fuqqing shame on you OP for even starting this cesspool.
Why don't we talk about growing or something related to growing?? Not some fuqqing BS playground talk that little kids indulge in.
