Thanks for the update at mid flowering @early_bird :) nice looking colas forming  lower the ec a bit and chech the ph if they are experiencing burnt tips: Overfeeding stops resin production of indoor tropical sativas, although most tropical sativa genetics focus on best resin production in last third part of flowering.

They are producing an impressive yield for an indoor tropical sativa @early_bird ;) well done! Colas are reflowering like mad at this point. Although Ethiopia is a very botrytis resistant strains, inspect often inside the buds in this last third of flowering, just in case.

Do you notice any difference in plants health between the top parts vs lowers?

@dubi Thanks
Yes, i didn´t expect such a development of the buds, she didn´t even have so much light and shared space with many other plants, under this circumstances she is doing good.

Absolutly, the lower parts of the plant are very healthy, the upper parts not

I increased light intensity and going lower with feeding now, because of the automatic watering from a single tank i feed all plants the same which is a challenge (but saves me a lot of time and a must in the small coco pots)

If the lowers are happier than the upper colas, I'm not sure increasing light intensity would be a good idea, let's see... certainly they would benefit from more personalized feeding if possible, as they require a very different nutrient regime compared to hybrids (for example).

Ethopian - Flowering Day 76

Just Ethopian and 2 Green Haze left in my cabinet now. Kali China move in soon.
The smell get´s insane, for sure some of the best smelling plants i ever had
I made a higher distance to my light when i increased intensity to keep her happy. Doing okish, all fan leaves died now but the buds are growing.

Ethopian - Flowering Day 85

The plants looks almost ripe, so i made i pic of the trichomes.
By looking at the plant with the naked eye, the resin development is not very good.
But through the camera a very even and surprisingly big trichome heads are visible. Standing also very dense.
Ripening very even.

I planted my entire 6 pack of Ethiopian around the start of the year. I wound up with two males and four females; of the four females one is much more vigorous and stretchy than the others. I have harvested pollen from the two males and have the females at a bit over a month of flowering. I've found that it is easy to keep these small with restricted pot size, as others have posted. Growing in organic soil, I think their tolerance for nutrients is medium. Certainly I've given them too much nitrogen but they have been able to tolerate soil that I consider fairly high in nutrients, as long as it is well aged. Overall growth has been a bit slow, probably because of the low temperatures this time of year. I've kept clones of all these in case the end product is really good for any of them.

The largest plant on the right here is a honduras x panama, the rest Ethiopian:

Glad you are feeling mesmerized by their scents in late flowering @early_bird look very much like the high yielding, aromatic mother i keep as mother, that's a good sign, for vigor, yield and quality of finished product.

Certainly your Ethiopians were still strongly reflowering in your 14th March update, so not fully ripe trichomes were expected, while some parts of the colas were already drying, so consider harvesting buds at different times as they ripen.

Hi @gedLang I'm impressed by your efficiency and well-planned approach  glad to see you currently have four females in flowerin, hope you find interesting traits that suit your taste with this African landrace strain. These genetics definitely prefer softer nitrogen levels, as noted in the strain description.
