Hey Folks,

this is my first post. And my first outdoor grow and its a lot of fun :D

I grow outdoor at 50° and my plant is 135cm height. The ph value ist around 6 to 7.

Some Leafes look not so healthy and have a really vertical sighting.I thought it could be magnesium or nitrogen deficiet.
I tried one hand of epsum salt on top of the soil and after that i watered it. But there ist no reaction :/

I have also one malawi x nl auto and one zalmadelica auto, they are small but really healthy and have a good bud production
They have all the same soil.

Thank you.

Ciao

Welcome also to ICMag @max_power2024 ;) great looking both ACE autoflowers finishing there, thanks!

If ph is between 6-7 and you are growing in soil, and didn't show the problem in same soil until pot nutrients are most likely getting depleted, then is a nutrient deficiency. Could also be a root damage at some point or even septoria as some suggested here. Sorry difficult to fully confirm from here.

How is she doing lately ?

My second EP, who is untouched and without light deprivation, recovers well in the soil I also topped her with some organic feedings. My first Erdpurt is already in the Jar
full

She has countless branches and was the one with the triploid tendencies. All the branches grew asymmetrically around the stem. Really don't know if I can finish her that way.

Thanks for the update @regentag super leafy plant, i would highly suggest to defoliate her a bit, especially during flowering. Please, keep us updated!

Hola @TresPlantas a pleasure to meet your ErdPurts :D similar expresssion to the ones from @MuluMulu

The yellowing seems to me to be related to ph and/or nutrient issues. Do you measure the pH during waterings and feedings? Has it gotten worse? She must be close to harvest if she hasn't been harvested already. Please, let us know!

Hey dubi,

I don‘t Ph my water since they grow directly in the ground. I have a big reservoir underground with around 15k litres of water. So the Ph might be off. My guess was Zinc deficit due to Ph, but since the plants looked healthy otherwise I didn‘t worry much. The first pheno is hanging to dry. I took it down a bit early because of botrytis. We are heaving a terrible season here. It was very warm and humid with 80% Rh during the day. Even the autoflower growers had big losses during peak summertime. Now we have 9 degrees at night and rain nonstop. Today we had a hailstorm.

Early pheno a couple of days before harvest:

Hi dubi,

i think its leaf septoria, because the wine all around has similar problems and the soil should have enough nutrions.

Here are some pictures from today:

Im not sure if its done. All stigmas are brown allready and at the lower buds has some budrot. Do you think its the right time to harvest?

Welcome to ICMag @MuluMulu :) and thanks a lot for your support!
ErdPurt genetics worked very well at your latitude and conditions, well done, really yummy looking hashplants with pinkish pistils :yummy: did you grow the regular or feminized version ? Enjoy!
Thank you a lot for your genetics ;)
I grow the regular version and i never buy feminized seeds as long there is also a regular version available. 5/7 are harvested.
An the one shown in the picture is my favorite, i will give her the last week cause we have sunny weather. As soon as the weather switches the last two will be chopped down.

Congrats on your harvest @TresPlantas especially after dealing with bad weather this season!
Thanks for letting me take a look at such a beautiful pinkish ErdPurt flower. :)
It may have needed 2 more weeks, but it still looked quite ripe in the photo.

If the problem with botrytis persists, consider choosing strains with more sativa genetics that have a more open flower structure. Although they have a longer flowering time, they usually exhibit better mold resistance than indicas.

If you are growing dense strains like ErdPurt (and most modern strains), do plenty of proper pruning to create a bushy plant with medium-sized buds that have higher mold resistance, rather than fewer larger, dense colas that are more susceptible to fungus in rainy, wet climates.

Also, Afghani strains (ErdPurt has a strong Afghan influence) are cold-resistant but are well known for being prone to botrytis and mildew.

Your favorite looks also very much of my taste @MuluMulu :) looks chunky and resinous.
Do you have pictures of the black ones ?

Thanks for supporing our releases in regular seeds.

Hey @dubi

I am testing an interesting cross this year. I showed a Nepali x Erdpurt last year in this thread that I dusted with a Hindukush x Erdpurt, made several years ago. So it is a polyhybrid with both sides having the Erdpurt in it.

This one is very EP dominant in its smell, but also different. It is berrylike, silky and a hint of orange and rootbeer so far. A few pictures during week 5

This one is coming down this weekend probably. I think she could go a bit longer but I think she will not disappoint when I take her now. Aroma is there, budstructure is rock solid. And she is very resistant up to this point. Given the conditions she has to battle she is doing astonishing well. Next week will be rain all the way and after that the temperatures might drop to 5 degrees at night. So I‘m taking her in:

I'm impressed with your ErdPurt hybrid @Fibber_Magees! great job  It was a great idea to cross ErdPurt with Nepalese to add hardiness and sativa influence, improve the flower-leaf ratio, and create a more open, branchy structure that prevents the leaves from shading the plant itself and moisture.

The Hindu Kush seems to have contributed beautiful indicas buds and resins :yummy:

Lovely colors as well! My guess is they come from the ErdPurt and Nepalese.
What Nepalese and Hindu Kush strains are involved in the hybrid?
Were they as colorful as your hybrid?"

You are right with your guess. The colors come from EP and Nepali. The Nepali has given a few genetic traits like the shape of the leafs, the look of the seeds and some of the structure of the buds.
What Nepalese and Hindu Kush strains are involved in the hybrid?
The Bluehemp Nepali Baglung from Derg Corra Collective

And the Hindu Kush is a bagseed from weed that I bought at Coffeeshop YoYo in 2010, so no real info on that one. It was not the best tasting weed, but it had nice resin and a good effect.
I think the Hindu Kush added to the general plant structure to be bigger than Erdpurt or Nepali itself.

Were they as colorful as your hybrid?"
The nepali might be to most colorful part in this cross, as I used a green Erdpurt male on the nepali side for potency and a reddish male Erdpurt on the Hindukush side for berry taste.

Here you can see the black ones. The bud isnt that black at all i was stunned about the almost black pistils she had. Not all, but many.
The „black“ ones got much more mold at the end than the green version.

I attached two pics of the male that i used for reproduction, was a pretty one ;)

Have a nice weekend!

Hi all! :tiphat:

I'm happy to announce that ErdPurt is finally back again in stock after 2-3 years outside of our catalogue.

We grew this great outdoor indica line a few years ago here in Spain, and i loved the results: a strong structured, outdoor early flowering afghani with big dense flowers of amazing colors, hashy earthy coffee aromas and pleasant relaxed but clear indica effect.

As you may know, the line came from Esbe and was bred mainly outdoors in very northern and cold latitudes.

We tested the line here in Spain from spring to autumn and it worked great but we found hermie tendencies when we tried to reproduce the line from winter to spring with increased photoperiod. We then selected the few non hermie parental plants and we reverse them with STS for open pollinating to produce a feminized generation that was not so sensible to different ambiental conditions.

Then we grew this new feminized generation indoors applying different variables that could induce hermaphroditism: use of flowering stimulators, radical change of photoperiods, moving the plants from indoors to outdoors with increased photoperiod, etc ... most of the plants remained firm, only a few females showed a few unfertile bananas after all the stresses at the end of flowering. A varied group of the firm feminized females were pollinated by a non hermie, early flowering, hashy, colorful and high flower to leaf ratio male to produce the standard generation available.

I hope all this work helps to avoid the previous hermie tendencies of the line under many different ambiental conditions, and still keep the quality and essence of the line as i received it.

Special thanks to Esbe for providing the line, and to all the people that contributed to the line in the past.

Here's the official pic and description for the new ErdPurt stock released through ACE Seeds.
